Whiiiii \o/. I got myself two new cpu:s today. 3200+ LBBWE 0529BPGW and 3000+ LBBLE 0520EPMW.
As i quessed the oldskool 3000+ was better. 3200+ E6 got to about 2700mhz and rising the voltages to nearly 1.8v didnt matter. Now im testing the 3000+ @ 2808mhz @ 1.5v with S&M in a loop to be my 24h settings :) WITH AIR. The 3000+ went 2,7Ghz at stock voltage.
why does no one use YBBLE processors?!
EPMW is a good stepping and week 20 had some great CPUs. I would also have guessed that the week 20 would would totally beat a week 29.Quote:

You have hard core watercooling and you're too lazy to install it? Man you have to get clocking. I'm so happy i moved to water, this setup is tight.
I got Alphacool NexXxos XP block for my cpu. The radiator which is cooling it is about 15x22x33cm and from car A/C. But i have been thinking of gettin one 2*120mm radiator and one 1*120mm radiator for my Alphacool Masticore case so i could fit it all inside the case.Quote:

they could be running 1meg and 2meg cahces on these chips which makes performance increase many times over.
i still say my 1meg 754 CG Clawhammer (single channel memory) performs better than any newcastle or venice i have had yet(which run dual channel memory). you CAN feel the difference in a 1 meg L2 i knwo it sounds silly but its a fact.
and i just cant believe that in this day and age cpu makers are still crippling cpu's with a whimpy 512k L2 and a uber stupid 64k L1. performance wise it is a major factor in performance on a cpu, the size of the L1 and L2 cache's
Uh, Intel only has 1 and 2 MB cache chips on the market. It doesn't buy them anything, especially since the 2 MB cache on the P4 6x0s has higher latency than the 5x0 one and the chip comes out just as fast.Quote:

I got my Venice 3000+ E6 last month, here's my addition to the db...
3000+ LBBWE 0530 CPFW - 2520.53 1.53v AIR - infiniti029
It's 8hr prime stable. Pretty poor OC'er :( I can get it pretty close to 2.6ghz with 1.6v, but I havn't tested it enough yet.

nah no need we all know the E6 venices suck and top out around 2.6ghz on air or water. not sure how phase worls with them but the 2 i tested seem like that just have a hardware lock that no matter what voltage,, they just flat out refuse to be stable past 2.6ghz

I can get upto 290x9 at 1.612 volts max stable :( I'm pretty sure thats max maybe I can up the HTT 2 Mhz.I'm using water cooling and can't get it further I tried up to 1.710 volts and still not stable any higher for some reason it won't go temperture hasn't even gone abve 40C full load.I nought it from newegg and its an OEM.
Mine 3500+ e6 "lbbwe 0533gpaw" can boot into win and do normal win oriented stuff @255x11=2805@ 1.350+0.25 vmod=1.6Vcore but its not stable for gameplay or benchmarks. Right now i am at 251x11=2761 and it is stable cooled by 7700cu cpucooler..
Actully i ordered an 3200+ cus i crushed my naked 3000+ winne with my Zalman7700cu but i got an 3500+ instead hehe.. hoped for 3ghz but everyone can have dreams right? hehe
The mother board is an Asrock 939dual Sata2..... Best stable mobo i ever had!

You really need to get that Venice to 2.9Ghz
It's weird you need so much volts to run 302x9... I can run 300x9 stable at 1.475v in the BIOS (not too stable at 1.45v)
Oh, I just saw you have an Neo4-F, I had that mobo before the DFI NF4 Ultra-D and I needed more volts to keep my cpu stable on it. Also the vcore fluctuated a lot, that's why I got rid of it and went with DFI.
i managed to work my way to 2796mhz with my 3000+venice e3 pretty quick!and with no bells and whistles mobo but an albatron k8nf4x!!!!and what is really strange is that the max htt on this mobo i found out to be 362.......

i can bench sandra at 3018 mhz for arithmetic and memory bandwidth
i have a venice 3200 DH-E6 and goes fine 2750mhz@1.55v (stable) and i have it for the day a day at 2500@1.47v so i guess not all E6 are so ****** at all, 2750 its not that much but its not bad, and can hit the 2800@1.60v(but not stable).
