is anyone getting vdroop with their xbx2?
I have a new XBX2 Rev 505 and am getting about -.03 on Idle and -.04 on Load. Setting 1.5125 in bios gives me 1.482 idling, 1.471 load according to IDU. Enhanced Power Slope is on in the bios, and I am using the the 8pin connector from my PSU(Corsair HX620). This isn't as bad as some Asus boards, but still a fair amount imo. Anyone else notice similar results???
I *think* vdroop only means the voltage difference between idle and load. The voltage difference between BIOS's setting and actual voltage output does not include as vdroop, right?Quote:

I think the product model number of OEM version start with BLK, retail version start with BOX. BOX version = 3 years warranty. BLK I think is 1 year warranty only.Quote:

This is the max for now, i'm not able to boot windows @ 460FSB.. not even with 1.5 vfsb
Tomorrow I will try to reach a better SPI 1M score by pushing the mem with a 4:5 divider :)
Would you guys recommend this BX2 over the Asus P5B Deluxe?
I actually just ordered a new computer (sitting here waiting for the UPS man since it's suppose to be delivered today) but I purchased the P5B Deluxe. It seemed like the most common board on the overclocking "database"... but the more I read about it, it seems like it's not a very stable board. I'm currently running the Asus A8N32-SLI which had its fair share of issues (figured I would have learned my lesson with Asus) and it seems the P5B has the same issues.. lol
Anyways, if this BX2 is really worth the extra $30-40 bucks, I might just order one and sell the P5B I have coming in today to a friend.

In between. Outside temp here in the Netherlands is around 0~5 degree celsius. I had my window open, but it wasn't that cold I couldn't be in my room without a jacket. I guess it was around 15 degree celsius room temp.Quote:
