With the new 0605 Bios on P5E3 Premium I am now able to break my 495FSB wall. I am currently testing 507FSB and will post some results once I'm done. Here are some shots at 503-505FSB with memory running at 1617Mhz and 2016Mhz:
Hi guys :)
It's been a long time since I was last in here. Has anyone else managed to get a Q9450 Prime95 stable at 4ghz yet?
I am on my Q6600 right now and don't know where to start with it yet . :p:
do you guys recommend to upgrade from a Q6600 to an Q9550?
Or is it better to wait for the mainstream intel nehalem?
does nehalem support ddr2?
If its not about money get a E0 9550 DO NOT BUY A C1
Thanks, I'll stay with the Q6600,then will wait a bit longer to see if prices will drop for the Q9650.
is there anyone with Q9450 and Abit Ip 35 pro i need some gtl adjustments help :p:
ok i just wanted to see how high we can go :p mine runs better with 80 @ 3.8 but i was thinking that it might is too high and i asked :)
ty :)
Dam just found this thread after posting a new one.
Hello crew, wanted to get some input/thoughts on these settings so far. Dont think i'm going to push it any further due to the fact 3.6 requires volts of 1.33 to get stable, as well as, push it to ~72C on the hottest core running IBT

I don't see any problem in going to 3.6ghz at 1.33v and 72c. Tho you won't really notice the difference between 3.4ghz and 3.6ghz tbh.
Another my test with Prime95:

Have you tried loweing your vcore for 3.4 a little more? I agree 3.6 is hard to achieve, alot more tricky than 3.4.
Re: sig. Nice OC mate, is that your 24/7? Or just for benchmark purposes?
Honestly! Some people get all the good chips. Only can run my chip at 3.4 at that voltage. Damn you!
She Folds 24/7 @ 3.9ghz and about 1.41v. The extra 100mhz for 4ghz isn't worth pushing so far over 1.4v.
She benchmarks at up to 4050mhz

:up:I run a Asus Striker2-NSE with the 790i , took a bit of play but had it running stable at just under 4gig , the temps were amazing low 30's on water. Scored 19854 in Futuremark '06 on 9800GTX in SLi config' much better chipset than the previous offering from Nvidia.
