Are you talking to me or stunned_guy btw?
Oh, I thought I meant to be talking to you but it's stunned_guy that's selling. But if you've got something along the lines of what I want that you're willing to sell, let me know :D
I shall honour this thread with my 100th post :)
I tried to edit my previous post but I can't do so from my phone.
Does anyone have a decent chip that's either completely cold bug free or free up to about -60*c? If so, it's mine :p:
That's what I thought, I was just being hopeful. Oh well, I've got a CABCE 0516WPMW FX55 coming my way ;)
Got a few more chips to play with:
Opteron146:
CACJE 0605GPMW 0027 and 0051
Opteron148:
CAB2E 0548FPMW 0062 and 0413
Most likely coldbugs
i have a fx55 0522TPMW CABHE. it did this under a positive tempurature chiller.

3512mhz with 1.7v
this chip came straight from AMD for free ;)
Nice! I have one myself, straight from ebay for $150:D
Got it to 3850 or so on dice, but it has hardly any coldbug so 4ghz will be easy on ln2;)
I spotted another one on ebay 1-2 weeks ago but I didn't grab it as I have half a dozen FX55 SD's already. Rare stepping, but definately a good one. Why did you get it for free btw?;)
Here is some of my last good reasults: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=297492
@ massman
Opteron 146 0605 will sucks I think, I have one CACJE 0604GPDW her and this is aweful :(
amd decided to give away 5 or 6 sets of an asus motherboard and fx55/57 to people over at [H]ardforum for the s754 and s939 threads that have lasted like 3 years or something like that. they saw our loyalty and decided to reward its faithful users.
you guys might see this gem in the classies soon ;)
Hehe, maybe they read this thread but thought me, gianni and stunned_guy already had enough chips lol:D
@ 939-addicts:

Arrived yesterday:D
Edit: Typing this on a 3000+ venice 754 chip btw. Sucks BIG TIME! But Survived prime @ 2700mhz/Zalman 9500LED overnight. load was 50c, voltage...
1,85v
Even my clawhammers beat this one! And it's a BB stepping so I guess it has a horrible CB as well. Maybe I try prime @ 1,95v sometime, just to murder this sucker.
You got one of these X2 3600+ ... lol ... yesterday I also bought that smiling cpu....will see what I can do with that. The record will be yours or mine because it is now at 3 ghz ... that is a joke :D
That two 0626 FPMW will rock and KABGE will have a high cold bug but is unclockbar.
That X2 3600+ is really a sempron (2x256 cache, just like my 3500+ sempron has 1x256kb cache:D ) btw lol. Shame they didn't label it as that. Oh well...
I think my BG 150 couldn't do 3g on water, and if this one can do that, then maybe I can get it to 3,8ghz at least. But I bought it a LONG time ago, before Gianni's 0626 got the WR. 3880 is POSSIBLe (with alot of luck I guess), but the WR will be VERy hard to get.
There are plenty of "joke" WR's. Just take a close look on ripping:D
Done :D My 3700+ KACAE 0605APAW is stable at 3GHz on stock cooling with 1.525v :p:
stunned_guy I'm still hoping for a price list, maybe just for those that do 3GHz or more stable on 1.35v or less :)
Oh sorry I forgot ;)
Will do this in next time for you and knopflerbruce.
@ knut
The X2 3600+ is sampled with BV --> stands for Manchester core but it could really be an Sempron.
In 3 weeks ? Than you have to beat my high score with that cpu :D
Yes, CPU-Z will say that it is an Manchester...but if its a "palermo" core why do AMD use BV at the end of the production number ?
AMD Athlon X2 3600+ 939 is athlon X2 with 2x256kb L2 and core is manchester.
OC will not be good i think;)
and knopflerbruce send photo of ADAAA2800 thanks ;)
I will, but since about 90% of my CPUs are in the garage of my friend - who is on holiday till the beginning of february - I can't do it for a few weeks. However, there will probably be a bench session once he gets back home (depends on the availability of dice, but I hope that will be fixed).
I'm going to take photo's of all the cpus I have, just for fun. His dad has a mighty nice camera:D
I also have lots of pictures of all of my cpu that i tested --> more than 120 amd sockel 939 processors. And each of them has its own picture.
Why not ? So I can´t forget each processor. Only one CPU picture I missed...it was an 3700+ E6 0536 VPMW....
i have approximately 150 CPUs on socket 462. and all CPUs are ~300 ;)
but i collect specially AMD Hammers (754/940) ;)
I loved my old 3700+....
although I only ever got up to 2.8 on air :p:
