Hi there,
Great website, I've checked every single page
It gave me some great inspiration :D
My A900 isn't that much interesting now, but this is how it looks like now...for now :p:

Things I want to change or do:
A new PSU, this one got only 5 molex (4 pins). After that I can cut holes..finally. Then I can spray it black. Then I can buy new CCFL's, purple/UV and green. New fans: Aerocool Turbine 1000 with a Scythe fancontroller.
And maybe cut 4 small holes for the CCFL switch.
But the money is the problem now :(
Hopefully I can post the results soon.
Cheers,
Gelu :)
Looks like a light sabre battle going on there. As for ideas to clean it up, read the thread... plenty of great ideas. My first suggestions would be to get rid of the rainbow brite zip ties and pick up an extension cable for the mobo cable (4 or 8 pin top left).
Mine is all torn down sitting in the floor beside, but I don't have time to get it modded this weekend, and my team was a Folding@Home war starting tomorrow night. Gonna have to wait another month or so before the list of mods get done.
After having my system up and running 17 months, I tore it down to upgrade the processor, now I'm doubting myself a bit. Will... in the picture above, your Tuniq is blowing toward the rear of the case, correct?
I had mine turned 1/4 turned to blow toward the top, but I had never noticed until now that the word Tuniq is actually upside down.
So, does the air actually flow to the bottom of the word Tuniq?
It has been a while since I last posted. My case has also changed since then too. Decided to change all my fans to red, and left the color blue for peripherals inside the case. Also lit the front USB ports in red. Here's some pics, I'll be posting a video later this week.
------------------
I finally found good filters for the fans. The aluminum fan filters are a tight fit, but they work just fine. They don't hold airflow that much neither.
Here's how the cable management looks until now.

----------------------------
I used the switches mod someone posted earlier too...

One set of CCFLs wasn't good enough for me, hehe. So I put two sets for more interesting sound-visual effects.

@outbreak42
Wow, your case looks nice :)
I was also planning to cut a hole for the ccfl switch buttons on the same place as you have.
I was really wondering how you did it and what you tools you used to make the holes.
Thanks a lot,
Gelu
Ty Gelu,
The tool I have is this one. I've had it for years now and it's a really good rotary tool. I even used it a lot for architecture design projects.
Ah, that's the same thing as a "dremel" right?
I do have one actually, only a different brand. It also has a flexible shaft, it might be usefull because you don't have much space to cut a hole there.
And what kind of accessory did you put in that tool to cut the hole?
I used a step bit for my holes.

Nice job will!:up::clap:

You should paint your PCI brackets. The slim DVD mod is top shelf.
Diggin' the red/blue combo in your case. I am using the same two colors myself.
Paint them? They are black/white, but with the blue dust protectors you can barely see their real color. What color would you suggest?
Black, like the rest of the case. I might add a red cathode myself, or a red LED strip, since I have a second, unused switch ATM.
Does anyone know where I can get an EVGA logo/sticker, like the one shown here? My emails have never been replied to. I would suppose I can only get one with a new card :(

Man it is painstaking getting it all together. Should of just waited and bought the Antec Twelwe Hundred but I really like how my Antec Nine Hundred Turned out. I hope to post some pics of it soon here. I got it cut, dremeled, power coated, JB welded, and etc. LOL
I hope it is decent enough to post up.
By the way on power switch and reset switch and etc, which wire is negative? If you look at the plug, there is a small arrow, does that mean its the negative wire or positive?
Please let me know
What all do you have to remove to mount those switches there? I want to move my big fan three way switch there.
Will, Thanks for the reply.
Now to figure out how to mount a fan on the side with that huge Thermalright Extreme 120 Ultra. I guess I need to look over this entire thread again for ideas!
I like the blue LED fan coverage on the NB area (spot-cool?)
I have a DS3R as well and would like the get the motherboard temps down (high 30s). From what I hear, the motherboard temp sensor is under the video card. I'll get some better fan coverage there soon.
to be honest i didn't really see a reduction in temps with the spotcool on the northbridge, but it's there for piece of mind
