The Top one is from Thermalright?

What fans did you use? 40mm fans are hard to come by, especially if you also want led fans in red.
Hardly anyone makes them anymore.
@theorie: I am not entirely sure I like them, but I just have an aversion against grills. Still, looks nice.
Edit: I found some. Ace Modding has a whole set of them in many different colors.
But 7600rpm.
i can't see the fans on the intel ssd :P

EDIT: are the pics too big?
Nice rig there emoners. Justr a few questions regarding your rig mods though, what is that vacating your 5.25 bay just under the imon ultra bay? Cant seem to make out what that is.
Secondly what material did you use for that panal covering the side 5.25 bays witht eh xtreme systems sticker on it?
emoners, were you shivering with cold on the 1st pic?
Your case looks good but you need to upgrade the VGA cooler man :)
Awesome Emoners!
Hey nice idea on that plate that cover the wires to the right of the mobo
btw where did you buys those buttons on the front and take a picture of them light up!
thanks. the 3rd slot is actually a 3.5" docking bay for my Silverstone MS05 external hard drive. & the face plates on the right side of the mobo & covering the drive bays are acrylics which i painted black on the back side. :)
hahaha it was actually taken without a stand & at an awkward position. i know, was really hoping to go into watercooling except that i don't have the funds for it at the moment & it's so hard to get those stuff where i'm at. & the only after market aircooling stuff for my vidcard, isn't available yet here. :(
thanks mate!
thanks. will do in a couple of days, just finishing up some work :)
Super stuff there....love the way the whole thing has come together to look nice...btw whats the HS for out side the case. I think I also see a small 40 mm clear fan there near the I/O shield...whats that for??
Nice, emoners. :D
@emoners
What kind of motherboard backside cooler you use? Is this IFX-10? How to set the right angle?
Some pics, one of the cases I'm working on atm.

you can check out uvnium on your stop over. they are located in Sim Lim Square. If you are into the bling and other stuff.
http://www.uvnium.com/uvshop/
If you like to DIY and crimp your own fans then you can try Sim Lim Tower just diagonally located. 3rd floor is a good place to start too. Most of the industrial fans 40/60/80/120 are available there.
hi guys,I came in this awsome forum to discuss about the beautiful world oh hardwareland lol,I came from Italy,in a little and beautiful country called abruzzo, nice to meet you all

CPU idle temps are 33-37 degrees Celsius, max load temps in Prime95 are 46-49 degrees Celsius. I'm using two Scythe Slipstream 120mm x 25mm fans on it, each are rated at 1900 RPM/110 CFM. I use OCZ Freeze thermal paste. I put a BB sized drop on the center of the CPU and then I put the cooler directly on top of it (best method). I have the COOLER MASTER ATCS 840 case with 10 fans. There are 11 in this pic, but that fan right in front of the video card is now right below the identical one in the 5.25" bay. Those dark blue LED fans are the COOLER MASTER R4 series fans, 2000 RPM/90 CFM. They're more quiet than my Scythe Slipstream fans, and way more quiet than my old Antec TriCool fans (2000 RPM/79 CFM). They push much more air and spin faster according to my fan controller. According to my fan controller, the Antec's spun at 1850-1900 RPM max. These spin at 1900-1950 RPM.

The fans. I have three with blue LEDs (two visible in the pic above, and one on the rear) and two with no LEDs (one in my Scythe Kama Bay using a fan grill, the other in the external air duct).

I disabled the 230mm top exhaust fan closest to the drive bays. It drew air out of the case prematurely and added to the negative air pressure. I tried making it an intake and it didn't help.

Hi Salucard,
Welcome to XS.
Your introduction made me laugh because half my family originates from Abruzzo. My Grandparents came to Australia from Castel di leri.
Nice PC by the way, I'm thinking of getting a HAF 932 soon, love the space in them considering their affordable price.

@Deepsilver: Were you running out of memory or something? All six dimms occupied. :D
Doesn't look like it's lapped
OK. Just had a few minutes time and looked at some reviews. According to this, for example
http://www.silenthardware.de/2009/02...ammer-s126384/
Tommy's heatsink is either lapped or pre-production.
^ Xigmatek revised Thor's design, they released PDF file also to show improvements. Now its shines w/ new improved base.
The Thor is gorgeous!
I'd love to get two of those for a dual socket workstation :p:
Agreed that is one sexy piece of metal.

nice functional case that Zalman is, but it just has to much plastic for my taste.
Wow I actually like that case a lot. Nice build

Got fed up with the childish design of the XFX stickers.
Switched most of the fans to the Noctua S12B-FLX, even the mid-section fan (took a long time). Re-did the cable management too.
http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...0/IMG_0114.jpg
I'm gonna get flamed, but Tommy, why do you always post the exact same picture? It's like you get a new part, put it on a white background, and then photoshop it. No offense, but that's not good photography. That's just getting a fancy camera and taking all the soul out of a picture.
I know a lot ppl go oh beautiful picture Tommy blah blah but I don't think they're beautiful at all. They're lifeless..
I've made most of them for my reviews.........and yeah, they all look the same, because this is what I need for reviews ;). All the CPU-cooler pics are for a High-End cooler roundup for instance =)
Moreover I like this clean look and many others do too.............but I agree, they are lifeless.......that's because hardware don't live :P (just a joke, don't get mad *gg)
I think some people like the clean look probably because they have no imagination. It's easy to like something simple because there isn't much to DISLIKE. It's like a creative cop out.
Haha. Well Just thought I'd chime in. This thread and its twin thread (Yeah, the one in the computer cases forum that contains the same damn pictures) have evolved into something of a photography showoff and not a lot of dusty, dirty, aircooled rigs the way it started off as. But any ways, I don't suppose it's such a bad thing, just gets a little annoying that it's the same people posting their tish over and over. How about some pics of rigs that you actually USE, or your computers have evolved into models?
Wow I'm pleasantly surprised someone shares my point of view. You said it perfectly brother. And no I'm not arrogant enough to think my thoughts were unique, but it's like you said, people are making the thread into a amateur hour photography 101 instead of just showing off their cool rigs, and so I was starting to feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like what's happening.

Tommy when are we going to see case :)
poparamiro, is your motherboard on a carpet/rug? D:
Tommy I personal love your pictures, I think you show off the pieces of metal amazingly but in a simple way.
Great pics Tommy and popa. Keep up the PC hardware pr0n!
Megahalems with Thermalright fans... priceless. :D
I just bought a few Xilence Red Wing fans for my case/cpu, and I very slightly modified one of my case fans so that there would be a colour theme :yepp:

Installed and showing push/pull on black TRUE:
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...hys/Inside.jpg
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...nyRhys/Top.jpg
I much prefer this to the blue LED fans, which I have had for 2 years now :D
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/Outside1.jpg
For those of you not familiar with these fans:
The fan speed varies from 1300 to 1400; three of the five fans are at 1350rpm, one at 1300, and one at 1400. All of them are plugged into motherboard 3-pin headers, so I was able to remove a molex cable from my PSU, making the case a lot less cluttered. Fab.
The fan motors are inaudible but there is A LOT of air moving through the case now, much more than there was with my tricool fans. These fans move about as much air as the tricool fans did at the medium setting (pretty loud), so mission accomplished. Motherboard/chipset and CPU temps have dropped substantially.
The Red Wing push/pull config on the TRUE is absolutely awesome; they move a lot of air and they are so quiet. My CPU temps are the same as they were with the noisy Sliverstone FM122, almost double the speed at 2500rpm.

Lenny nice job painting the blades there looks really good.
AT Volkswagen really clean job good looking rig.
Thanks HuffPCair- I gotta sleve the fan wires off the SanAces and it will be even better :)
Xigmatek's XLF-F1253 would be better:up:XLF-F1253 is very nice fan, but it is more expensive than Xilence Red WingQuote:

Great mod! Looks like a P150/Solo upside down? How did you do that?
i've just fully disassembled the case then coat painted it and then finally remounted it in i-atx configuration :) (there are also a few minor changes like window, top ventilation hole, pwr/reset buttons and more to come, for example i will try to turn out the psu too - so it would be able to take clean and fresh air from outside)
sweet case!!
kvadzio: great job, i love your work ... this pink screws are AWESOME :) You are my number one dude ;)
FTF! Kva you're mine hero :hump:
