Bios doesn't allow more than 1.35v

i installed small heatsinks from petra's where your heatpipe is. i cleaned off the thermal tape and used non conductive thermal adheasive from arctic silver... i think i was arctic silver alumina ceramique adheasive
vrms dont get above 85 now
Why dont you pick some stock cooler (amd is good) and put it on mosfet. You have to modify a little,but it is worth...
I made it more flat, and first it gave me +25mhz on the core. So cooling those little pulse chips definitely helps. I could do more then 950mhz with the Fur benchmark, and 930mhz 3dmark06. At this moment it isn't stable at any speed.
Such high clocks with VRM above 85? OMG. I know my card is not the best because the stock vgpu is 1.2v, but my card can't clock high, even while my VRM never goes above 50c according to Rivatuner.Quote:

The radiator is one heck of a bottleneck but still i can hold my gpu below 50c when high overclocked with 1.35v.
You should take a thick triple radiator (360) for optimum cooling performance. A swiftech mcr320 would be a goo choice.

Here the fans aren't starting on their one, so everytime I start the PC I've to kick-start the fans by hand... .

I figure with all those fans it should cool the VRM area well... Have you been able to clock higher than with the stock cooler?
I had that ones when using a fan controller and set the fan at low speeds. I also had to start the fans by hand, clearly a volt issue. Maybe you could try to connect the fans to the mobo with some modding.Quote:

Wow This has to be one of the most Fustrating things ever!
At first I thought it was just VISTA seeing how XP recognizes my VIDEO card fine, and VISTA Refuses to recognize my card when I install the OS weither I install the 32bit or 64 bit edition.
I then waited 4 months for SP1 to come out thinking it was VISTA. Now I don't know what is wrong because After the service pack, windows still refesues to recongize my VIDEO card other than Default video, ATI drivers 8.4 (latests) will not recognize the video card, GPUZ will not says "unkown arictechture"
This :banana::banana::banana::banana: has really pissed me off.
I went ahead and used the XT flash on nickfire again after flashing serveral from teachpowerup it showed a change in a few digits indicating to me that I successfuly flashed to XT, however in VISTA it still refesues to Acknowledge my video card.
I need help, if anyone has any ideas please help. Again vista just refuses to recognize the BIOS flashes on my video card
