Pending for shipment is meaningless at Club IT. My E6600 has been in that state since I placed my order on 7/27.

But yah, they are definately smoking something and it's definately not legal. That's a ton of freakin cash for a 6400.

something tells me though that newegg's original ownership/ways of business in the beginning, drastically changed in late 03.. They never used to be like this. Im beginning to think the original newegg was bought. I rarely purchase from them anymore.. Seeing this pricing scheme makes it even more so. Off to the inquier! lol

Thats not really true as 6300/6400 have been fairly available. Its not all that hard to get one for more than $100+ cheaper than that.

Who cares what Screwegg does!! Expend your energy purchasing from resellers that demonstrate pro consumer business tactics.

Why is everyone so desperate to buy from Screwegg to the point of begging CSR's to re-consider their price strategy?? Just move on and let them self destruct.

Thought I would throw this out for Nicepun, however if any of ya all live near Fairfax VA you may be interested as well...

Microcenter in Fairfax VA has about 9 E6600's in stock. Well 8 now as they put one aside for my buddy to go pick up. Cost is 379.00. OEM.

Or you could spend an extra 10 bucks and get a 6300 from ScrewEgg!

Yea I've always been a supporter for small business because they actually care about their customers. As big as Newegg is; I "thought" they had the same ideology but I guess I was wrong now. If Newegg keeps this up with Kentsfield or K8L; then they can go to hell with that. :slapass:

Oh if I was only at home right now, if I had an e6600 to work on I would be :rolleyes: and there would be plenty of photoshopping going on as well.
