why do they do this? quite easily, you can see the differences very well and you have a value without unit. for instance in 3D06 you got points, in most other cases you got FPS. this way you can put several bars in one graph...

Unless of course HD4870X2 clock is lower than HD4870. But that would be a step back from HD3870X2 which actually had slightly higher clock than HD3870.Quote:
