Beta14
1. Fixed bios to prevent from CPU multi-plier vector can't be changed at next boot when we use 'user define' to set multi-plier vector and enter then resume from S3.
2. Updated USB code.
I doubt there is any increase in overclocking ability with this beta 14, just a couple minor issues addressed.....

new review of this board here : http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Abit/AW9D-MAX/19
So far, my max Prime is:
Stock nb ~380*9 prime @ 1.8vMCH in bios
MCW-30 @ NB ~412-420*9 ish so far, cpu crapping out, 2.0vMCH in bios.
I also cannot run 4*512 @ ram over ~400 ish FSB, even on water! It will even fail 1m :(
I really like the board, but I had alot of issues setting it up...
Sorry for the big picture:

can anyone tell me whats about the scythe infinity on aw9d max is?
cant find any exactly statements.. some says, it fits fine.. other says, theres a problem on the heatspreader in the back..
Its fine, I use it, see here:)
Abits respones on the 13 bios.....still waiting:slapass:
Dear Customer,
Our BIOS development team is still working on the next BIOS release for AW9D-MAX. We will post it on our website once it's ready for release.
Best Regards,
Abit FAE Team
ah okay, thank you! :)
but one last question.. can you put it in like this? seems it could be trouble with the ram..
Thats the way I had mine mounted with various different modules like G. Skill, Crucial, & Corsair. I also was using as silverstone fan, not the one that shipped with the cooler. Ram was a bit awkward to remove as well as HSF with the board install in case.
thanks for your reply :)
i order tomorrow, got a nice silverstone fan too at home :D
Do you already have the abit board & your ordering the scythe infinity?
tuniq tower fits perfectly on the board
yes, i have it since a week but atm with stock cooler.. and the temps are too highQuote:

Getting it on the board is not to bad , its removing it that sucks and the crap wire to clip on the fan is low class.Quote:

429-436 fsb is about prime stable... but I am hitting a really bad wall @ 440fsb.
I cant even run 4 dimms much over 400 fsb :(
the problem isn't running small fft.
the problem is running orthos blend above 400 mhz.
try running blend test and you'll see you won't be able to... unless you got a magical board! :)
Thats kinda the point why I didnt run blend...Quote:

It's a bit odd really, because I can do any 3d bench @ 450 Mhz fsb, even with 2x x1950xtx cards in crossfire mode
yup. same here. 435 mhz works fine with 1,75 vmch. everything above wont work. :confused:Quote:

I'm concerned with this too. It has taken far too long for them to release a new bios after the 1.3b. I'd like the new IN9 32 board, but January! No way will I wait that long. Looks as though me & my AW9D-Max will be parting company over the weekend.Quote:
