I saw l0ud_sil3nc3 and dumo were there as well, tell us more about the event, guys! :)
dumo and Asus' coolice have also set a new IB-E memory clock record, reaching 1950 MHz 14-31-15-45 with a Core i7 4960X on a ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition. They used four Corsair Vengeance 3000 sticks based on Hynix MFR ICs.

Gunslinger posted another result from the event, scoring 39629 points in 3DMark 11, a new WR. He used a 4960X at 5841 MHz, an Asus R4E BE and 4 GTX Titan, modded by Shamino, at 1486 / 1774 MHz.
He included a picture of the R4E BE.... Very sexy:

The event was a blast, I have some pics I will upload tomorrow, but all I can say was it was a great to actually see everyone in person. The hardware was solid, no deaths of anything on any of the rigs (minus cpu's lol), and we are talking 10+ hour sessions, the board is solid. I think at the end there might have been one 230L left out of the four and I am sure that is gone by today:D

Got some global / gtp points tonight. Wasn't able to make a submission for the competition. After about 4 hours of ****ing around, stuff started getting a little wet.
Going to bed happy though. :)
Still some LN2 left, maybe 10L. Hope I can set back up in a few days and run Cinebench.
A good day for the team, BeepBeep2 achieves 8 GHz on FX-8120 and l0ud_sil3nc3 achieves DDR3-4000+ on a retail IMC! :)

I have a pair of hd4850s and an i5 3870k. Funny thing, just last week I was benching these 2 cards but there was a problem. I was getting less points with cfx enabled than with single card! I just gave up.....may have just been a driver issue idk.Quote:

@Don_Dan - some points play in US favor right now for having more submissions in a certain stage, points would be much different if calculated solely on the averaging...

I've got two HD 6970 with waterblocks sitting ready for Vantage, not sure if I'll have quite a CPU, could pick up a 2500K.
These stages require several submissions, can one person submit multiple for each stage?
I think I can have a worthwhile contribution though I'm a bit down on time/power/shtuff

i considered benching again for cc... then decided i cant. have to worry about too many other things at the moment. life has been flipped upside down for a little while now, but finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. taking a break now to bench would cause me to lose focus, and there is too much on the line right now for that.
