What's your mobo Dave_Sz ?
Is that bragging or exclaiming that the Neo2 is undervolting? If the volts are that high, i would like you see you prime it all day...Quote:

yeah man i got simular results with my 3200 venice. heres a shot of 2800mhz 1:1 1.4v and climbing...
peace perc,
-22C? not really similar :p:
Great CPUs anyway
Mine was going about 2850Mhz @~1.4V on boxed heatsink, not 1:1 tho. After this, it needs about +.25V to get to 3Ghz. Raising voltage past this point is just calling for instability, even if the temp are fine; <40C

so your saying that with that venice you cant give it more then 1.425v or am i missreading? i would think that these venices would handle 1.55v-1.65v depending on you cooling no? plus 3gigs at 1.425v thats a nice chip! id like to see your chip on phasechange i bet it would fly. im aiming for 3200mhz out of this 0521DPMW veince i have. but knowing my luck ill be in the same 2800-3000mhz range i cant seem to bust out of? think i need colder unit that would help! ok man good luck...
peace perc,
No,
1.40V
+0.25V
______
1.65V
No matter what voltage higher after this, it's windows instant freeze, or BSOD :stick:
dammit man thats not cool at all. that chip would need a good phase unit to stay under that voltage... this one i got aint to bad at all im at 3000mhz using 1.5v in the bios but windows it only reads 1.456v.
peace perc,
Very nice chip perc. I know once you give it some real volts it will be way past 3 Ghz.
I always use CPUZ for the V readings so that looks like 3 Ghz with 1.45 volts.
Anyone had any experience with an E6 3500 Venice?
I want to know if there's something I'm overlooking on the configuration side or if some hardware component is holding me back. I'm pretty sure my ram is holding me back but I want to make sure before I make my next purchase.
So far I've reached the best stability and performace with my settings as follows:
HTT:240
Hammer Multi: 11x
Mhz: 2640ghz
HT=3x 16x16
Ram Timings=1:1 3-3-3-8 1t
Vcore: 1.65v
VDimm: 2.8v
Chipset: 1.6

Extremely nice CPU... now let's see 10 hours of SP2004. Looks like it will run 3 Ghz pretty easily with a little more volts. I am prime stable at 3 Ghz but it requires 1.73 volts, load temp @ 39-40C. With that many volts that CPU would probably be around 3050!
Ur CPU is without IHS?
I've pluged in this CPU 2h ago, had no time to run longer Prime95, just testing what i can expect. :toast:
Yep IHS removed
I forgot your IHS is still on - that is a very sweet CPU! Dont forget to do burn in.
Yeah, maybe i should try an Burn-In, but my PC is 20" away from my bed, so i can't sleep.. we will see ;)
Grave :
you got yourself another one? What happened with the first one? Week 20, if I remember correctly.
Yes, the other one is already by his new owner. ;)
Got this CPU today with mail from ebay.
Very nice results.
You're very lucky finding a good performing week 20. :toast:
Thx, but the finder is a friend of me! ;)
Anyway, i have fun to test this great CPUs! :toast:

3200+ Venice E6 LBBWE 0531 EPEW maxing at 2.5Ghz 1.6v :slobber: but first time i can bench SPi 32M stable my TCCD over 300mhz 2.5-3-3-7 1T -good IMC indeed
http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/51/306trcd35cy.th.jpg
yeah im lovin my 3200 venice. these chips are deff nice im at 3100mhz now using 1.55v in the bios and cpu-z is showing 1.504v wich isnt bad. one thing im starting to notice is that anything over 1.6v the cpu will eror out in super pi where as with less volts it doesnt  im thinking that if you cant get your oc using less then 1.6v then your screwed! atleast with the cpu i have anyways....
peace perc,
Final results, no time for longer testing. :

Here is my CPU on the DFI NF3, this is back when it still had the IHS

lol perc, he just showed me that pic, i was so amazed! Now he just needs to bump the voltage up...
its 0521DPMW 0098 btw.
Cooling*? IHS? ;)
* Got it.. Mach 1
Well I just picked this thing up and popped it in. I didnt even run it at stock. I just wish my ram would do 330. LOL to bad I prolly am going to sell it.
cpu-z verify----

your not selling that cpu and if you do its going to me :) no way am i letting that slip away to anyone else.... these 0521DPWM steppings i hardly see on these forums and the ones i do see are ocing like mad! shame you cant run that thing at 1:1 past 310htt i gues a divider doesnt hurt that much just a shame thats all. nice chip man make sure you let me know if you sell it...
peace perc,
I don't have Windows running to get a CPUz shot, but this survived a full day of FreeBSD's `make world`, which is a very hard test (recompiling the whole system with itself, and any memory error leads to compilation failure).
My E6 3200+ does 2500 at 1.525 volts (ram under 200 MHz) with a Zalman CF-7700-CU at full RPMs.
2600 MHz did not run even at 1.50, so I'm testing 2550 now.
The DFI LP Nf4's temperature readings don't work in FreeBSD so I have no idea.
Hello!! What Can you tell me about this Stepping ? 3800+ Venice

Thanks!!!

8*337@1.65v
cpu-z ID 30607
All that runs on crap Gigabyte 100$> board K8NS-939 with nf3 ultra chipset
so i thinks its the boards limit
cooling= very custom home made gas cooling, temps about 5-10 degree Celsius
didnt manage to take any pics except of cpu-z verification because cooling began to leak, waiting dor dfi nf4 sli-d to arrive to maxx out and some gskill pc4400 is on the way too
All on air, thermal take big Typhoon cooler..

Low volts - prime, occt and super Pi stable.

High volts - OCCT and Super PI32M stable, not prime stable though.

Well here is the newest chip I got today just a couple of hours ago. Its another 0521DPMW batch is 0070 nice and low just like I like it! But here is just my initial testing but there will be more to come.
http://img316.imageshack.us/img316/9...08578xr.th.png

WOW!
I don't believe these results
I now can hardly get my CPU stable at 2750.
Not sure what is causing my problem.
Nice results! :toast:Quote:

I use the boxed cooler but have a nice ventilation in the cabinet ;) (35° full load)
What's up with some SuperPi;Prime95 or other benches? SS are a bit boring.. and Vcore? ;)
Well here is another addition to my collection of chips. LOL (sorry not bragging!) This one is one of 2 0517BPDW's that I just picked up. I dont think they are as good as the 0521DPMW's that I have. This week 17 doesnt scale the same way. It needs alot more voltage to hit the same speeds as the week 21 chips. But this is still a pretty good clocker. Here are some tests right out of the box. Maybe the voltage will improve with some burnin or just day to day use.
http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/3831/32ghz13qp.th.jpg
http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/8054/32ghz21pl.th.jpg
Ok I finally got around to testing the other 0521DPMW and it seems to be doing pretty well. Its the one on the left side of the pic.

Edit--just messing with this chip a little more and here is a cpu-z shot of 3.6ghz.
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=42910
dang, got an E6. Not cool... well, I won't be OC it, I'll see how much I can undervolt it at stock clock. (The CPU is for a CnQ-HTPC)
Jesus, you won't OC it cuz it's a E6? WTF? I have 2 E6 at 2.6ghz+ with 1.5v or so.
http://web-upload.com/uploads/ebay.jpg
Dont know if my power supply (350W, installed a 7800GTX) is too weak for more MHzs.
LBBLE 0521CPMW :-(
Anybody know where I can buy a decent Venice anymore? I've been browsing for sale forums, etc...but it's nearly impossible to find a good week or a proven OC'er.
I bought one venice 3000+ and his step is:
ADA3000DAA4BW
LBBWE 0521DPBW
Z510316F50831
I want to know as I can give with him. my mems is Patriot XBLK TCCD (which the best times for them?)
Sorry for my english...
thks :D:D
