Take a look at your D2OL forum, there are a few members there who have switched i believe :)Quote:

most of them "switched" when d2ol was in "dead" phase, and 95% of the R@H team moved over from the D2ol team, now that d2ol is starting up again, there are members producing again. we havn't actively gone in pursuit of other projects to get them to help us, or at least i know i havn't. ive only tried to get guys that arn't producing at all
Yes D2ol has been dead for a while, Ive only got points because I have some machines that I dont have access to. I bet if you look the f@h guys are still producing much the same as the previous month, maybe even more.
I think we'd notice if angra or some of the other big F@H producers hopped over to R@H for a while :p: . But yeah this is a pure R@H team effort, any time people have tried "pimping" in other forums such as D2OL or F@H, they have had a slap on the wrist :slap:Quote:

You guys could really impress me, if you can pull something off like we are doing right now -> triple your daily production. (meaning 600k a day).
I just happened to see a link today on the free-dc forums, where it shows that DPC is at a 12th position worldwide with al DC projects combined, where XS is at a 141st (if I remember correctly).
edit: Just checked, you guys are in 115th place. My bad. But still..... ;)
I'll nemesis you, with your own horns. miawwww:DQuote:

I think the DPC guys have some good points there...
I've never been involved in DC and neither were any of the other members that I've seen joining here in the last weeks, it's just not that we have hardcore crunchers that are skipping other projects for the time being. Our own Rosetta hardcore is definately increasing output however, and so is the whole XS team, thats why it is indeed like a mini stampede. :)
Anyway, like some guys already pointed out here -- it's Rosetta that's the winner here. Not some guys that have never even seen eachother that gang up to get top-numbers on a website. I'm not underestimating the importance of this competition now though, because that's what makes for a lot of extra energy put into projects like this. Thats why I say: we MUST win!! I'm firing up the BBQ for the 1st of may. :D
Bubbles-
If we had 1k+ members that DC'ed, perhaps we could compete on the global DC stage with the likes of DPC and FDC; bottom line is that we don't... we however do have a small group of very dedicated crunchers which is an off shoot of the overclocking focus of this webiste. Not all the overclockers here like to run superPi or 3dMark until our eyes bleed; but then again I don't see too many DPC members at the top of the charts in 3dMark or any of the other benchmarking competitions, now do we?
If you are trying to discount what we have accomplished here, it won't work... we are dam proud of what we have done in R@H, F@H, DIMES, and D2OL. We have given the world's best a run for their money and shown well how strong we are. Not bad for a bunch of overclockers, huh??? We just might have even gained the respect of some four-legged grass eaters ;)

triple our daily production, we have basically quadrupled it, we started out the first 2 weeks at 60k a day.
in fact, as big as most of DPC was talking before april , you guys aren't doing anything. Where are these 400k dailies, you may be beating us, but thats with 700 more members. 700 extra members = an extra 15k over us, not a whole lot now is it.
Mc Intosh as of now is the only DPC member i actually respect.
and its probably going to stay that way
my 2 cents on the matter.
as for the global rankings, DPC has been around longer than our folding teams have, which is one reason you are so far ahead of us. Just like you started out D2ol before us, you were ahead, same with R@H.
enjoy 3rd place, check the stats in a month and thats where you'll be at.
(my post may come across as harsh, but im tired of all this BS we are having to put up with these days, imagine a smiley or two)
Damn, it's only tuesday and the blood is boiling! I would have thought it would need a friday night and a few beers to get this hot!
Is this what roo much Mountain dew does?:D
Go get 'em Tiger!;)
yea, its too much mountain dew, im mad that they changed the can, i liked the old school look a lot better
Well I guess since we are going project by project taking the #1 spot ..... I guess our overall standing will go up right ? Theres only Dimes, Folding, Rosetta, and D2OL teams ...... all have done very well.Quote:

No offense, but you guys were talking big as well, saying you could easily beat us during our stampede. I haven't seen that happening, now have you? Besides, I never said we would do 400k dailies. I expected these scores and maybe hit a few 400k's.Quote:

That we get these scores with 700+ extra members is irrelevant. That's mainly just because of a different community. You guys have a couple of very big producers (I still wonder how they're able to pull something like that off:clap: ), where we have a lot of single-computer users. That's why I'm impressed by you guys; out of the blue you suddenly snuck up behind us and are about to take us over.Quote:

Actually, my guess is we're still in second place, you having switched places with Free-DC. :p:Quote:

Maybe my last post was not really friendly, but that wasn't my intention. Again, I'm only trying to get you guys going even faster than you're doing now.
If you want more smileys, you should read my other post in this thread. :)
Again, another difference in the communities. DPC started out as something part of Gathering of Tweakers / Tweakers.net. And GoT isn't all about overclocking either. Nowadays we still have some sort of connection with the board/site, but we're mainly on our own now. Most members are simple home users who run DC-projects in their spare time, just for the fun of it.Quote:

As I said, you already have mine.:) It would just really impress me if you managed to do something like we did with this project during our stampede. A month before the stampede we levelled out at about 100k a day. At that moment you guys were leveling out at about 200k. Try to triple that. ;)Quote:

ok, that last post wasn't so bad, sorry for getting so mad @ you, had a long day. we do have a lot of good members, that goes from the #1 member down to the new guys joining up. DD has just been around this a while, and one thing ive learned about him, he doesn't like to lose, nor does he like second place
No harm done. :)Quote:

I think we're doing good, about 90% the production with 25% as many users! :D
It's all us XS guys with 3 Ghz Opty dualies versus the Cows on their Pentium-2s :p:
All in good fun guys :)
I believe I can confirm this...Quote:

If I recall correctly, Angra has already said at the end of year -05 that his switching to an another project would be too difficult.
Watch it... are you sure you know what you're talking about :confused:Quote:
