Depends, 3d01se is mostly CPU based and DOTHAN PWNS! And 3d05 has benefit of the two cores of a FX60. So that's not fair. Dothan pwns FX60 :)

Btw , long pipelines are the future.Even if short pipeline rule now , all studies made have shown ideal pipeline length should be around 30+ ( Intel ) and ~50 ( IBM ).Problem is if process and transistors evolution will be fast enough to allow a improved Netburst to make a comeback...

I badly need a new cpu to play with. To bad Conroe won't be available for 6 months. I have a feeling AMD just dropped the prices on the Opterons to get them selling again just like before christmas. Otherwise, they could sit on a lot of silicon soon.
