Yes, if you don't need SLI, U-D is better than Expert.

I am not sure about CFX3200 price. I only know CFX3200 RD580 is more expensive than DFI NF4.

Here in Germany one shop has already listed it for 239.90€.

Does the Expert still clock 4x512 BH-5 better than the U-D though? Also is the 4-phase Vcore reg useful with dual-core?

I must say that the DFI CFX3200-DR is one of the best or if not the best 939 motherboard that there is.

The overclockability and stability of this board is simply exceptional.
The RD580 "Skeletor" chipset can easily reach 1500MHz LDT frequency with tight timings and in every day use. My board can run HCI Memtest with 1600MHz LDT frequency without a problem (320FSB, 5x LDT).

Also overclockability and stability of the memory has been taken to a whole new level, thanks to the adjustable clockbuffer chip.

That's interesting Tony, for being designed for BH-5 I still lost 10Mhz with my Expert as compared to the same mem with Ultra. I guess that may be because every DFI board clocks totally different though..

tweak the expert and it will do as good or better...anyway I have a thread for the different DFI NF4 boards, this ones for RD580

What exactly is the clock buffer chip? Where did you get the program to tweak it, and how do you tweak it for various types of memory?

Its the same clock skew IC Asus have used, clockgen will tweak it from XP and bios will tune also.

Sorry..........I had sold HZ to my friend in few days ago.

This is my next motherboard!

But WHEN?

DFIstreet wont even let people ask questions yet.

3~4th week of April in the UK apparently.

Hopefully not long after for release here in .au either :)
