Cool so the BF's seem to handle phase well too... thats good to hear... I think I am seeing a pattern, seems that if Bx where x = a letter then it should handle phase quite well. if Bx where x = a number the chip does NOT fair well with xtreme cooling... Hey TankGuys, do the current batch of 3800 X2's have a T or N on the corner? Or will it vary from chip to chip and isn't stepping specific
Well, this is really very interesting.
I received two more LDBFE 0607 this morning. Peering through the plastic, I can see that one is a UPMW "N" like my current chip, much later batch # - but - the other is a SPMW "T".
Of course, I've decided to leave the "N" boxed and am keen to test the "T", because this may be quite informative. Props to chew* for making this a point of interest.
& - on the "T", the Z89xxxxB part of the serial is much earlier, 1429 vs 4859 on the "N" chips.
Interesting that you say that OPB. Would love to discuss your thoughts and experiences with that. BTW this comment isn't doubting your results, you've obviously had your hands on alot more cpu's than i have. I think you may be right becuase i had alot of conflicting results with that. Also not enough results for TPMW compared to XPMW in my collection of data which would bring the average down.Quote:

my first TMPW (CCBWE 0528 TPMW) was a shocker, needed 1.6v for 2600mhz under water.
