meyt2600es will be soon here i hope and my brand new ln2 containers will arrive in 2 weeks.
So P4/Celeron IHS fits perfectly?
Anyone knows if A64 IHS fits?
i think its to big.. coz the pcb is much larger on a a64Quote:

several even. specially to use with air/ln2 and so on lol
Sure it will.. the ihs only rests onto the core.. you silicone or glue etc will be between the ihs and pcb... so no matter what core :D you can use all ihs'es from the 478 core based chips!Quote:

Dothan / Yonah has the same sizes than a PIV / Celeron.
I tried a PIV IHS on a Dothan and it worked perfectly.;)
Regards.:toast:
And do you make it stay on there forever? Like glueing it or something like that? Thermal adhessive? Or just some thermal paste like AS5 or some of that white stuff?
I put there arctic ceramique, and the container did the rest :D
Arctic ceramique.. and on the ihs--->pcb i use Black silicone kit :)
I can remove it as i will on the same way you remove an ihs from a a64 or so :)
For DICE/LN2 better creamique on core and silicone to hold ihs :)
Now, I have to find dead P4/celeron somewhere
This is what i use to "glue" the ihs onto the pcb like the same way intel and amd use:

I use car windscreen sealantQuote:

No overclock, it's a MoDT ES system =), installed Windows MCE. If I have time and if I do get a good board, I might OC it =)...

Aopen San Jose told me that this board will be stocked by ASI and Ingram Micros by next week. Since it is Mobile on Desktop (MoDT) board then availability on the usual channel (Newegg/Monarch) will be scarce.
The best thing is for some peeps that have an access to ASI or Ingram's stock availability to help check it:)
Probly a group buy with Aopen possible?

I should be able to buy a bunch, and sell them to XS guys for a deal.
Oh please let me know when...:)Quote:

I just "accidentally" stumbled into this thread. So the competition here is to see who gets a mobo first? :p:
Can you get this mobo?Quote:

Good to see a familiar face in this strange land of Intel :p: I'll see what I can do - AOpen only? Or other brands OK?Quote:
