We've 4 mainboards with fixed vcore now starting S/N 5*MM now. 1 in UK and 3 in Germany.

I will do that.
But it's hard to find somebody with vcore working
What you mean is vcore at startup requested by CPU?
--edit--
Another user reports with his brand new P4GPL-X:
P-M 730: vcore remains at [AUTO] and no choice
P-M 750: vcore adjustable, but without any effect. So vcore is fixed (~1.31 V under Windows).
Both processors had working and adjustable vcore on his old (and dead) P4GPL-X.

hmm strange.. I can also say that evrything used to work on my p4c800-e..
And the next one coming along with same vcore problem (2 new ones today).
I've opened a thread in a german forum. I hope that a lot of users talk about our problem there. May we discuss here, too? I will report, if you are interested.

Still I think it performs OK with a 740M I had lying around. Runs 12x205 at default VCore.
31sek in SPi1m and 30k in 3DMark01 with a Club3D X800Pro (605/1110).
PS.
This board/bios shows much lower CPU-temps than my previous P4GPL-X. Idle at 30-32 load at 46-48.
I use a Zalman CNPS7000BAlCu-LED (moved the clip up/reversed bars).
PS-II.
And the serial number starts with 5AMM.......
