Does that price include burial fee for both the board and cpu and possibly memory too?

should be nice to get just for the box.... :)
The box is useless, they need to spend more time tweaking the hardware and bios instead of trying to come up with pretty boxes.:nono:

So if that's the case, I don't get why people are knocking this board if it can be had for close to what the regular Expert sells for now....:confused:Quote:

I just purchased the "expert" model last month, and now this?
p.s. Notice the "Virtua Fighter" fonts used for this model, an inside joke/easter egg maybe? :)
I would be surprised considering thats not much over the Expert price..especially given the availability issue with only supplying 1000 boards. Not to mention a world wide release of 1000 boards...errr. They might sell cheaper than expected from the retailers, but only takes a few people that can grab up a ton of them and sell them off at rip-off prices.Quote:

Am I the only one frowning about the "No explosion" thing here?>

lol yeah thats scary nonetheless
looks more like a crappy translation to me..
so anyone got one yet..? :toast:
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that instead of applying fixes to their existing boards, they create a new name for them... so you couldn't RMA for a new revision. this is essentally an eXpert board with some tweaks/fixes most likely. Does this one report lower then normal CPU temps too? (it would be nice to really know the actual temps when overclocking...)
DFI dont do actual temps, far too busy making coffins...errr I mean leet boxes
What really disses me is the fact that the EXPERT was supposed to be the best of the SLIx8 DFI boards - not even 6 months and four (yes four) fecking boards later this arrives.
Is this DFI's way of saying 'okay we rushed the EXPERT and made a mistake, but hey look at our new board, where we fixed it all'?
I think I might choke on the IRONY of it all.
Now I can boot into windows on my MSI DIAMOND PLUS SLI32 mobo at 3.6Ghz (FX60) compared to 3.45Ghz on the EXPERT.
If the new BIOS MSI release sorts out the memory issue (Defualts to 166mhz and 2t) it'll urinate all over not only what DFI have now - but blow this sucka into the coffin it came from.
Take note DFI - I am less than impressed with your crap!!
^^^ Yeah I get what you mean...but DFI is taking advantage of situation and the VIRUS of OCing :D
Anyways....is it out yet?? I heard in Singapore it is or will be soon.
Looks to be a nice board but going by previous MSI experiences they may never fix the bios :slapass:Quote:

:banana::banana::banana:, they include a $50 coffin yet they cant even be bothered to use a new chipset cooler
i just switched mine out today for the 8 dollar Evercool one.. dropped 6 or 7C on the chipset, and fits perfectly (even better than the stock one!) ... good times!Quote:
