Still dont have a clue what is going on here. When I ran 05 on my DFI expert on stock FX57 and evga 7800gtx 512 i remember scoring 9060.

Are you sure those are your memory timings for your Ballistix? Cuz from the looks of them, they look more like timings for GDDR.....I know nothing about good Ballistix timings, but I have a feeling that you may have confused the settings. Those timings are WAY too loose for DDR ;)Quote:

Those are pretty loose timings in general so your sticks should do that. Let us know how they work out......

Thanks man, the ram is Corsair PC3500 old school bh-5 :) I want some -0 cooling but I'm afraid my opty will cold bug at like -10 then I would have a very expensive subzero paper weight. :p:

What do you guys think of the OCZ 3700 EB Platinums? I have 2x512 of these...
Now I am not an extreme overclocker going for world records but want to maximize my Opteron 170/Expert combo on my Vapochill :).
Seeing it hasa divider of 10 I guess I would need up to 280 depending on luck if I would run 1:1. Or is this just silly fine using dividers?

CPU @ stock this is too weird. same settings got me 9060 on expert and the evga was clocked lower than the xfx!
got 8722 something is wrong here!
The auto on that board is pretty lenient. You should be able to run 2-2-2-5 1T at 200MHz with Z503.Quote:

Im not using bh5. Im using ballistix for chirssake. i can do 300mhz @ 2.8-.9v
I know you are using ballistix but to boot at his settings you need bh5.
I doubt he wants me to boot as his ram timings. He just wants me to boot at the same cpu freq and all.
I dont care about this competion now i dont even have my cooling.
If you havent noticed im trying to get some help in this thread regarding my 3dmark score but everyone keeps on asking me questions about the competition or something....And ballistix does not like high vdimm fyi so i never need a vmod.
Someone please scroll up and maybe you can help me. I cant understand why i got 9060 on stock fx57/evga gtx512 on the expert but only 8760 on 250x12 and xfx @ 600/1800 its confuysing the hell out of me. i am guessing some bios settings need to be readjusted because the setup defaults are setting some incorrect parameters. no way should my overclcoked score on a8n32 be lower than stock score on expert.
