Now LOAD temps in Windows, again just like last time :) :
1. Screenshot of Prime95 SnallFFT. Again, for some weird reason I got Max +22C... This just has to be some freak reading :lol:
2. Then we see temps from probes: TEMP1=CPU IHS TEMP and TEMP2 is BLOCK TEMP
3. Switched probes again: TEMP1=EVAP TEMP and TEMP2 is BLOCK TEMP
So, what do we learn from that... One more time, never ever trust anything else than probes :) BIOS shows something, then MBM shows something, of course much different.
Sitting in BIOS does not stress CPU as much as Prime95, but it's pretty close, just few degrees diffrence. That leads be to believe, that REAL cpu temperature JUST MUST be below 0C, not what MBM shows +5C. It's very likely than it might be even about -10C under LOAD. If only we could say that BIOS shows correct CPU die temperature, then it would be awesome!
@EMC2,
Yes, I kind of screwed up this one. I should have used some TIM with those probes, but totally forgot about it :brick: Chilly1 also pointed that out to me.
Also, placement of my BLOCK probe is not the best. As side of the block will be always warmer than middle of it. That's where Chilly1 embeded his probe, about 1/2 inch up from the bottom, in the middle of the block. Same goes for CPU IHS probe, If I had it clser to the core, temp would most likely also be lower.
Thanks for good tip on copper tape, Daniel :toast:
