325 turned out to be a bad overclocker for me. with BH5@240 2-2-2-5 and all settings same as with 218 bios couldn't "verify DMI pool data" so i reverted back to 218. i will test with 326 asap though...

Guys remember you have to play a little witht he bios, drive strength etc to get good results.
some good info here though, keep it flowing.

Thanks

Just tried 326. My last pair reached ~270MHz @ 3.6V, one stick died that i replaced with another good one, and am able now to hit 260MHz @ 3.2V :slobber: with very few errors
Going to burn them during the night @ 257Mhz last rockstable
can u post your settings for me pls that u are using with your bh5 on 326/325(will be testing 326 2night)? thx:)

i think best bios is 2/18 yet :S
Guys, when testing VX or BH what do you guys have set for TWCL and 32 byte Granularity. If I change either of these from auto I can't post and have to clear cmos. I can change any of the other timings without issue though. Weird. Can changing either of these yield me more performance from auto?
re bios 326:
fyi, be weary of changing your ram timings too low. I just did and got my CMOS reset from it. First it wouldn't let me into Bios, it just reboot itself, did this 2 times before I shut it off to plug in a ps/2 keyboard. Then it still wouldn't let me into bios but went to the NVraid portion of POST for detecting drive arrays and just froze there. After I hit reset on that, it came up with a message saying Bios is corrupt and it couldn't find a floppy to boot from for recovery.
so I shut it off...took a wiz, and came back and powered it back on and it showed the logo as if I had reset CMOS via the jumper.
wierd...
scary. IF that happened to me id be freaking. This setup has already given me quite the hassles.
test even the 326 but still flash back to 310P...
No matter what I do , it just don't overclock from 10x or 9x multiplier.
Try out those dram drive settings too but just couldn't get my xl to go pass 205 on 10x multiplier....8x multi is ok till 300 though....
What Programm i need to Flash DFI Bios in Windows?
seems DFI NF4 325 bios is stuffed in lower cpu multiplers aren't working properly
11x 240mhz 2.5-2-2-5 at 3.1v memtest test#5 pasable so far
11x 245mhz 2.5-2-2-5 at 3.2v test #5 passable so far
but
10x240mhz and 245mhz 2.5-2-2-5 at 3.1-3.2v hangs just before memtest has a chance to load
multipliers 9x, 10x @ 250 hang right before backup CMOS and verifying DMI... 8x is fine @ 250. this is on 326. on 325 if i switch to 8x r/w queue bypass, i can get to about 253 on 9x, 10x and after that it hangs.
This bios is great for 300x9 or so, but i cant use 260x10 ie  With 310p i can use x10 multi.
Has anyone had an overall good result from 326? What is it suposed to fix or do?
i know this suggestion will take the fun out, but if someone 1337 bios haxor could make a program that could setup timings at a designated mhz and test for stability and performance, tighten a timing at a time and do the test again...that would be ossom for those of us without the time or skills to set all those settings up....
Maybe they could come round to your house and set it up for you too :)Quote:

wouldnt be bad, but the other solution would somehow be more practical for everyone....with 5-7 settings for ram it was not so hard but with 15 and no idea what the h*** most of them should be it isnt easy....Quote:
