*** The XS SLI 3DMark 05 and 03 Top 10 List ***

OK, so there are a lot of fortunate members here on XS with SLI setups. However, there is not a single person with SLI on the entire front page of ORB for both 05 and 03 who has AN XS TAG !!!!!!!!

I understand some ppl here are from different teams for those without teams willing to join the XS 3dmark Team once the captain is chosen, It would be nice to see somone with an XS tag SOMEWHERE on the front page for 05 and 03 sli marks.

EDIT: Does that sound a little demanding....cause it wasnt meant to be. Anyhoo, just a priority that I wanted to make members aware of. Nothing else.

Mines been tagged in 6th place for days... I've dropped down now though.

We need some more 66.93 WHQL FM Approved 03 runs made by some of the guys willing to do the **xtremesystems.org** tag. We could dominate the list !

Couldn't get SLI to work with 66.93, 71.80 gives me 10C lower temps then 71.25 aswell, so I will bench on that when I can mod BIOS to 1.5v :/

yeah i couldn't bench SLI with 66.93 either would give me non-SLI single PCI-E scores evenw ith SLI enabled!

Really? I was able to with the ASUS and the MSI in both 03 and 05. Have you tried with the Ultra cards yet, eva2000?

tried 66.93 with both 6800GT/6800U PCI-E and no go for SLI mode :(

71.24 still are best drivers for me

Did you install 71.24 than manually update the driver to 66.93 (do not use install program). That way, the fixed dll's stay.

nah i have a basic ghost image OS that i make after i first time install winxp pro sp2 which has never had any drivers installed...

then when i change drivers i revert to this basic ghost image to install drivers for first time :)

then i ghost image each driver state, so i can switch between fresh first time drivers for 66.93, 71.24, 71.80 etc

Is Win2000 not good for 3DM05? Don't see anyone using it.

Hard to imagine dropping down from 6th place with an fx-55 at 3 ghz and sli huh ??

Thought the 3D team was concentrated on 01. But, I tagged my results as requested.

My second place on the hall of fame is tagged (like that will last). Have to use the 66.93 driver, however. And, it seems people are having problems with that driver. I also have the number 2 spot on approved FM driver 05. Again, for the moment.

Not really, never been on a front page before. All I did was open the back door, thats as xtreme as I get. Only reason I'm on the front page is because it seems the true benchers have boycotted SLI.

71.80 workin fine for me...
450/1200 is all day stable for me...
go for tweaking and you'll have a higher score too...

I had problems with 66.93 also :( I am in the top ten in both 03 and 05 (at least as of Thursday) but running driver 71.80....and I AM tagged XTREMESYS so maybe you were searching "official drivers" .

Damn I hope NVIDIA releases an "official" driver soon. The 66.93's suck for the OC.

probably limited by extreme cooling options more than anything hehe - although i have heard of at least 2-4 projects by these guys for dual video card cascaded phase change systems in the works.. they're coming just not right now lol

Ok, I fixed mine (now shows XS tag) but it is with 6600Gt's, so no outrageous scores for me :D

Now, got to figure why my 3D03 llink is broken :confused:

Yes, once they show up, 12k will be the entry fee to be on the list. Especially if they phase cool the GPU's. I think we will see some 13K scores. Shimano was around 12,900 or so on the crappy 66.93 drivers. So, he would have been in the 13K+ range had been able to use the newer drivers.
