I thought of that too, maybe HCC has better os tweaks and stripped down windows. I know OPB has gskill that does 2.5-3-3 at high speeds, but he was obviously checking to see how high he could get the dfi at 1:1 and not going for worlds fastest superpi. ;)
Yes that is quite obvious. Either way its impressive (both results) :)
:D I'm using a fully installed version of WIN XP with SP2 - no tewaks into windows.
But heard about the advantages of using server2003 - is it true to get more performance and a higher OC ability with it ?

I got 24 secs and 9239mb/s..I think when I got cascade back from chilly 1, I can break my own record. :D
OPB
:D OPB - I cross my fingers for You and the 23sec............
But 24 is also outstanding, I saw many at 26sec - only a few at 25sec - but 24sec is hard to find !!!
But 25sec on stock single phase is also hard to find...........
Good luck mate !!!

Can this CPU overclock better on this board then on the others? ;)

You never took the IHS from your chip either, have you? :)
is there any word on the DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-DR? The Ultra-D has just popped up on an aussie site here and i was curious as to why the Ultra-DR isnt even on the DFI website. If the Ultra-DR comes out the same time as the rest and has the same price difference as SLI-D to SLI-DR i want the Ultra-DR..
What are the differences between the SLI-D and SLI-DR anyway?
Is it only the extra SATA ports on the DR, and otherwise the pcb is exactly the same?
Why has the SLI-D the letters UT affixed to the name but not the DR?
Ivan,I 've never taken it out
Deuce..

D without
OPB, What is the highest stable 1-1 HTT that you can do on the "mystery board" ;) at 2.5-3-3-7-1T at 3X and 4X if you would be so kind?

LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-D has the FRONTX panel ?? If this is correct. I think LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR will have the FRONTX panel also

lets see some overclocks with 2*512 instead of 2*256. Its more informative of the boards true potentials as most people run their systems with 2*512. 2*256 is nice and dandy for benchies, but not practical for everyday usage anymore unless u just browse.
do i need one of these "EPS" power supplies ? even when i start later using PCIe gfx cards ? or will a 20-24 adapter do the work for that time using my old pci-gfx card ? anybody knows
20pins PSU surely work with this MB, I tried... ;)Quote:

Can you try to overclock with a 20pin PSU, and a 24pin one? I mean, is there a difference in overclocking potential? According to the DFI techs I've emailed recently, these boards MUST have a 24pin PSU to work correctly.Quote:

Run a SANDRA membench with both - will be important to see which board has the better bandwith.

great news ! did you attached a 24pin adapter or just the 20 pin & good ?Quote:

YEAH!!! Hahaha - We want to see the 4V option and running off the 5V RAIL. You need to get Chilly1 to build a special cascade evaporator for the whole corner of the motherboard that gets hot! :) j/kQuote:
