I can't run my 512MB Kit of GSkill LA on spec 300FSB 2.5-4-4-8, neither than T1 or T2, I tested 2.50V to 2.85V in Dual Channel without sucess.
:(
At Single Channel my GSkill goes to 320 with 2.8VDimm 2.5-4-4-8 T1
What board and cpu do you have? Where did you get them?Quote:

My Gskill pc 4800 does 260 @ 2.5-3-3-7. I can't get it to 300 or more because my cpu won't go higher ;) What i do know is even with heat spreaders the chips can be verry hot so i placed a 5 and a 6 cm fan on top of the hetaspreaders. That will keep it cool.
(super pi with cpu @ 3.906 (p4 prescott 3.0 Ghz) an ram @ 260 2.5-3-3-7 = 34 sec)(everything cooled on air)

Hello!
Can anybody tell me how much does a 1Gb LA PC4800(DDR600) 3-4-4-8 PC3200 2-2-2-5 Dual channel kit, with TCCD 437 Samsung chips cost?
These memories with 437 chips are better (and off course more expensive) than the same memories with TCCD 440? A friend of mine says that this memory with 437 chips costs around 425 €. Is that true?!?
What will GSkill do when their TCCD supply is gone, use TCC5 chips?? Can we expect to see a microscopic v1.1 in the future?
No need to, they sell their ram naked. Everyone knows what is buying.Quote:

Im kind of new to 'memory' overclocking, so things might not be to their best of ability.
The following pic shows an overclock with a:
asus a8n sli, 3000 venice and 1gb gskill 4800 la.

Only problem is its running at 2T because of asus's stupid 1T issue!
Ultra-D will be on the way soon :)
However i am happy, considering its 1GB :)
What do you guys think?? any improvmetns i can do ya think??
Long time since a reply in this thread but, ive achieved 290FSB 1:1 and at 1T also with 2.5-4-3-7 timmings.
To do this i needed 2.8V and something to cool down the chips on the memory... Heres what i done...

92MM cooling the ram.... really impressed with this as soo many people say it cannot run 290/300 with 1T... well ive prooved them wrong :woot: :woot:

how is that? 311mhz 2.5/3/3/7 1T dual channel at 2.7V
weird thing is that in XP I can't run SuperPI at this speed yet it passes memtest86 v1,6
nothing weird about that.Quote:
