Have 3 Tbreds here, 1700 Retail Packs, AIUGA week 35.
So here u see what my AIUGA week35 can do with straight watercooling!
My new tbred A only does 166 x10.5 ... any more and i just can't get windows :-/.
My chip is a meanie :( (maybey running folding for a while will help it)
I'm guessing you're trying to do 2Ghz on stock voltage ;P. I don't think thats even remotely possible.Quote:

Watercooling specifics?
Motherboard?
I've got this under my Maze-2 water block:

I'm currently running it at 1900MHz@1.95V and it seems very stable. I tried 2GHz@2.0V but it crapped out on me. I'm afraid of upping the voltage more than that, I mean this chip is 1.5V default!
I'm not a firm believer in "burning in" but we'll see what happens with it after a few days of folding at 1900 MHz@1.95V.
i've got an xp1800+ tbred airga 0231mpm
with 1,5 volt i reached 1800mhz and now i'm running @ 1916mhz with 1,65 vcore, i let it burn in before i go higher.
cooling is alpha pal with delta cooler @ 7volt
@ nordic: thats exactly my stepping! week35 AIUGA. I ran that chip on 2,35V for 3 days 24/7. no prob! no decrease in overclockability. :)
Mine isnt from Newegg, but i got this result at only 1.825v (1.87v actual)

Some russian guys aren't as lucky as you!
I just received my XP1600+ Palomino thursday (AGOIA Z), not knowing the XP1700+ THA was availible in DK. But from what I've heard (mostly in here), read (link above) and my intuition says me I've neither made a better or worse purchase?!?
I just don't get how so many of you can get them up and above 2GHz - is that only with TEC+watercooling or what? Hence it IS the THA (1800+, slowest THB processor) which usually dies fast after 1,8GHz...
Not sure about xbit, but all of the Tbreds in Australia at the moment (mainly week 35 and week 41 processors) have hit 1.8ghz with minimal problems.
That might not be a gain in some peoples opinion (and not much better then an AGOIA Palomino), but the Tbreds are unlocked by default (L1s, and the last L3s), and have a garanteed minimum clock speed.
Btw, my Tbred failed at 1994mhz @ 1.825v

Just a final update, Heres how im cooling my water:

Didnt have a radiator on hand, and i wanted to use y PC, so i devised this.
Three Tbreds
AIUGA0235MPMW
945500820042 - Untested
945500820291 - 1947 @ 1.775v (voltage problem, gates did not change properly)
945500820296 - 1994 @ 1.825v (maximum overclock A7N266VM supports, 11x 181)
The T-Breds you have are the desktop ones. - they can't be mobile because of the part numbers.
sorry, you have to copy and paste the link...
Here is how you tell

Would anyone know why my mobo voltage protection kicks in now 2.01 instead of 2.11? I need more voltage to get this chip over 2.1. It will boot 2.93, but freezes at windows startup.
@ Jaws: obviously the OVP is calculated relatively to the default VCore of the CPU. So it decreases automatically with decreased VCore of the TBreds. Just turn the VR on the OVP a little more! :)
Same was on my KX7.
Just got my XP 1700+ T-Bred.
unlocked straight up in my KT133a motherboard (KT7A-RAID)
hit 1.9GHz straight away.. i cant go any higher for a while as if i hit a 155 FSB i go and get HDD corruption, so i have a max of 152 at the moment, and a max multiplier of 12.5x... but 1.9GHz i seem to be happy with for a while.:D

Great thanks for the reply! :)
Grentarc nice o/c!
