Thank you Alexandros! We need a females input to be sure....Shazza?

I kinda like the red gumdrops myself ...
Nah - I agree - go with black. Definitely don't mix them. Reds are very difficult to work with, and the more sources of red you have, the more difficult it is to match (especially when taking photographs).
Spoken like a true artist, with palette in hand! Red's are difficult, I will drink some blue..............http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC03885.jpg
Sorry that I cannot post my cigar, I could be fined and thrown in jail:confused: I always thought that Cuba was a part of Florida?
Hmmm...
A white Aquaero...x 3?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC03978.jpg
By now you know my new case....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC03971.jpg
You know the components, unless I change my mind, which could happen?
WC Update, 3 loops and counting;
Loop 1: 2 D5's EK top - Ram and CPU - Feser 120.4
Loop 2: 2 D5's EK top - GPU's and MB - Feser 120.4
Loop 3: 1 EK DCP 4 - with integrated Res, still in question, 3 A5's and the Aquadrive - 140.1 or q 240?
I had the EK Ram block stripped and re-plated with nickel and chrome..
The Madness will continue tomorrow!
mOAR PICS of that case please :)
I had the EK ram block stripped and replated...........

For a second I thought your acrylic had gotten stained red, then I realized those are fittings, lol. Anyway, sweet build.
Mia,
It was done locally for $40.00.
Humm....not too bad, but still only a few dollars less than another brand new one. :(
Have you seen the new Bitspower blocks?

One of the things I have been trying to figure out is res placement. I was surprised to find that no one makes a res-res holder. After a bit of head scratching, I came up with this....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04004.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04005.jpg
I will not be running them in serial or parallel. There is a plug in each res so this is just my latest mounting idea. I may end up going with two 400's.
LMK what you think.
The entire reservoir is being held up by that fitting? If so I am not sure it will do all that well once you have the loop filled.
loving the new case and the build looks nice and clean.
A little update today. The new fans arrived.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04009.jpg
These fans are high quality and the extra goodies are very nice.
The little 240 arrived too....nice quality!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04010.jpg
Difficult to do a glamor shot of a rad......
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04011.jpg
Once you start to take this case apart, you really appreciate the attention to detail!
I installed the fans and the rads in the pedestal......
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04013.jpg
Finally! I have some room to work with.....the pumps are not mounted, just thrown in to give you an idea of how much room you have to work with.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04015.jpg
I mounted 2 140's in the back of the pedestal....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04016.jpg
I apologize for the bad pics! I was in a hurry and I have a date with a bottle of scotch and a Monte Cristo #2! :D
Cheers, more tomorrow!
A small update today. I remounted the rads to suit my pump and tube routing.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04018.jpg
While pondering the pump to rad hook-up, I remembered I had some BP crystal links...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04019.jpg
Obviously I will have to get black fittings, but this is an easy option.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04020.jpg
I found some permanent housing for the SSD's!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04021.jpg
Cheers...:toast2:
The attention to detail still amazes me, the little things.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04022.jpg
Yea, we are in the penthouse!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04024.jpg
These little rubber bushings were an unexpected surprise and very nice. Great job Jim!
I think have everything sorted out now and my final plan is in place. I had to place a few orders today, a lot of fittings, a second PSU due to all the extra peripherals, longer breakout cable and longer SATA cables. I should be back on track by Wednesday or Thursday.
Cheers and in the words of Pink Floyd, Is anybody out there?
EDIT: 4 more fans too!
Just a small update today. I mounted the fan to SSD cage...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04025.jpg
I know not very exciting. However, the next step did require a small amount of modding...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04027.jpg
Please do not try this at home! I had to drill 4 holes in the rad and tap them to fit the CL fan holders...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04026.jpg
I hope you are watching Jim. :D
More gear arrives tomorrow and Friday, which should provide for an interesting weekend.
Cheers!
nice work looking forward to seeing more
Many thanks!
I was expecting a few shipments yesterday and today. Unfortunately, only 4 out of 5 arrived, thanks UPS. However, the main parts arrived safe and sound. I have the last of fittings that I need and believe it or not I will be using some compression fittings for this build. Yep, a new one for me. This build is getting a little complicated, which I enjoy, but the thought of near boiling H20 to squeeze on tubing for 30+ fittings made my hands numb. So I will be using some compression fittings in areas where they will not be easily seen. I will not bore you with pics of fittings....
I present to you the first white Aquadrive and possibly the first white Multiswitch?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04028.jpg
The rear....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04029.jpg
I like it, but it will be a challenge to mount, as it weighs about 15 Lbs with 3 HDD's..
Next up, 2 A5 XT's in white and please notice that one has black screws and the other stainless....I thought that black would be a good idea, but then I would have to change everything to black...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04033.jpg
And one with the Poweradjust faceplate...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04034.jpg
I think I will leave the PA faceplate out and go with 3 A5 XT's and the Multiswitch. The PA looks a little boring to me. comments?
I almost forgot, another PSU too...........Yes, I am Mad!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04032.jpg
Everything I need is here so tomorrow will be a big day. I will be mounting the pumps, BP power station, drain lines, some sleeving (which I hate), tubing from the basement and whatever else I can accomplish.
Cheers
That case looks great.
Wonderful work as well, looking forward to more!
@TheSeeker
I think your build is absolutely amazing! Your pictures are perfect. And the hardware you are using is just so sexy! That case, I am planning to buy one soon. I can't wait to mount my radiators in it.
One question!
Those EK reservoirs, do you need to buy those inner tubes for them seperately? I am getting the big one you have there, do you know which tube that fits?
