Why not get one of the magnetic/ionic based ones where the filters are just metal you wipe clean?

lol ...
as i said i spent more money on air cleaning then i spent on electricity.
And i got tired of it :

ionizers suck hardcore.
There great at killing order, but dust, lint, and other stuff, is nightmares on the unit.
If it picks up too much without maintaince.. it starts to crackle even.
Day2 of ghetto dust box... and its working good u guys...
Having it at the floor is better then the middle, as the dust cant even settle on the floor now.
so far im recommending these guys if ur bored and have dust conditions near severity as me.
So some updates i got completed on the weekend.
The RMA 580 came, and its installed.
The internals for the loop looks like this:

Here is the front panel, i am changing those thumb screws to blingy anodized ones when i get them from fastners express.

The Delta's on each loop is as displayed.
1: Ambient at front core
2: CPU water loop Temp
3: GPU water loop Temp
4: Board water loop Temp
Then its the KL 402 Bay res, followed by my SSD Rack, then an optical.
Futon is completed.. i think... lol..

I may replace that fan controller with something smaller, as i just need 1 port, with high wattage..
I have a scythe inside that bay also giving me my heatercore temps.
Basically the temps inside the heater cores:

As u can see, i love control. So i know if something is just OFF, or completely wrong.
And i still need to sleeve + fix the other side:

That's the RP-452 sitting on the floor.
There you have it 6 pumps (4 x DDC + 2 D5) .. tri loop system.
Do i get cake for the largest system displayed so far? :D
Anyhow:
Koolance - Wednesday
PPC - Hopefully Wendesday
Next week - Completion, as that ppc order should be the last.
Really want to get a start on building mine - your stacks are such an inspiration :D
NaeKuh,
How do you keep track of everything?
OCD!!! lol...
Seriously tho...
Tri monitor systems makes things very nice..
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...l/IMG_0619.jpg
Typical usage.. the left one will have HWMonitor + Realtemp GT + MSI Afterburner up.
That way i can see initially from my internal diodes.
Then if i see something is wrong... i can go by sensors.
If sensors are reporting below ambient.. then my sensors are fubared... (back to where i was when is started)
But i recalibrate all my sensors as well as replaced all of them, working or bad, so they should be good for 3-6months, b4 they start acting up again.
NaeKuh,
You never cease to amaze!
BTW, how are you doing with the 990x?
as in clock?
She's always been @ 4.4 /w HT ON @ 1.339 vcore. :T
And temp wise?
Ummm... my Cpu thinks its a god or something, cuz i can never get it to not idle below water temp.
infact as i type this.. all but 2 cores are idling below ambient.
But im not complaining, as its been "testing" for a very long time now... :P
Okay ... enuff procrastinatin' ... let's see some sleeving!
Am I correct in saying that basically you're using that Scythe fancontroller just for temp monitoring? :ROTF:
Lol aw Naekuh, oh how I wish I could hug you and tell you it's ok to think like that :P
But seriously, I'm getting itchy fingers, but I can't do jack until my orders come in!!!
AND I OFFICALLY HATE VAPOR!
He has now showed me an area where i have to spoil myself.
I present u, the blingy screws!
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0810.jpg
And they have very high quality:
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0812.jpg
So thumbscrews? or use the blingy hex's?
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0814.jpg
Originally i was gonna just use them to replace the rusted top screws.. but now im thinking of changing them to all but the panels:
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0815.jpg
:O BLINGY SCREWS FTW!!
hex looks sexier, thumbscrews would let you get in there easier.
mmm side panels will be thumb screws.
But the things i dont need removed all the time, im debating on swaping them out to that style.
This is what the screws were originally intended for:
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0817.jpg
you can see my original acrylic holders have all rusted til no tomorrow.
Darn it NaeKuh, stop making us hardware horny, because most of us don't have the money to buy all that awesome hardware !
Rub it in more dude, those hex screws are gorgeous, Cant find anything like that here in AU.. unless i do the ghetto way and re spray them haha
Zomg smexy!!! :d
I'm not a bling person per se, but even I have to admit those screws sure look a whole lot better than the rusty ones. That tri monitor setup is slick.
well now u see why i was on msn with vapor for 2 hours looking at screws!
Tomorrow is the big D day.
580GTX block + 2 koolance ddc heat sinks (i was chicken in changing my ddc-2 to those sinks, but seeing how well they work, im going to commit on it.)
+ the day shazza is looking for...
*Zombie Mode on switch*
SLEEVING
:shakes:
Gosh i hate sleeving!
I was requested to post better pictures of the screws.. since the ones i posted in application came out kinda blurred.
So here is how they look close up and focused...
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0819.jpg
And here is a side panel finished:
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMG_0820.jpg
Mmmm i may put an order again at fastners expresss.. i want to change all the stock screws on my 580GTX block, as well as the bay res face plate with hex blingy screws..
:hmm:
