Thanks for taking your time and energy to putting all of this together and share it with us! Originally, I wanted to get a BenQ 24" and run it at crazy fps. After seeing your thread, it's made me reconsider. Even tho I cant do your 3x30" setup, I think I can at least do a single 30". I'm thinking a 6990+6970 trifire would be my best bet for a 30". I'll sleep on it.
Might want to consider 3 6950s unlocked to 6970s and OCd to 950 for $750 after rebate on Newegg. :) Slightly more than a single 6990.Quote:

Still deciding if it's worth keeping.
4X 7970 Quad-Fire + 3930k totally beat that system without any problems. Just look at my score on OCN vs Vega. I beat him in every benchmarks easily. :)Quote:

What's with this kid's obsession with Vega? Vega has some of the best custom monitor setups I've ever seen. Anyone can buy a generic setup... This is XS, custom setups are what we look for here. It's people like him that make this site interesting to read.
How did I miss this thread? Super-nice setup. I love your mobo/vid card insulation and homebrew res. Gotta love a good a/c convert. And the killer hardware doesn't hurt. Excellent work. Crunch a few wcg wu's with it perhaps...
