yeah that's not going to fit...
I'm bored of this card by now. Overhyped and undelievered it will be and add very delayed to the list. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the itty bitty fan isn't going to do a good job at cooling the behemoth of a card.
I've basically given up waiting on this, probably will hold out for Kepler at this point... aren't we seeing next gen in another few months already on 28nm?
Q3-Q4 for high-end most likely, AFAIK.
28nm supposedly got pushed back to at least Q4, who knows with TSMC, and who knows if a high end card will come out on the new node immediately either at this point
TSMC's really slowed things down
O_O that is without a doubt, larger then my 4850x2
Why are we trying to fit a 6990 in a woman's ear? or rear?
I get 300 fps on 6970 CF..... really 6990?
i was being sarcastic...
but im betting a single 6990 cant do it.
my 6970 is getting ~30fps playing Crysis 1
people here tend to like ~60FPS gaming, so with a 6990 on Crysis 1 it should be possible to play Crysis 1 at 60FPS very high settings on a large monitor, 2560x1440 in my case
Crysis 2 will be even more demanding... so we will see
Early reports suggest it wont be more demanding than crysis 1.

I think that these dual GPU's are coming a little too late ... and with some specs a little under the "bar" ...
This generation of chips is very powerful ( well, +-, Nvidia yes ... AMD so so ) but they are power hungry ... and hot ...
So... the good times of GTX 295 and 5970 ... meh ... i don't see these new solutions being as good in practical terms as the old ones ( yes, they will be quicker, but i don't believe it will have the same "equilibrium" )
