He'd sell you your own underwear while you're waring it. :ROTF:
Don't be surprised if, during this week, you get a phone call coming from my house, and it won't be me on the phone. :ROTF:
You better go hiding in your basement and camp there for the next coming months. :D
Well hell why not?
I'd always learned that in sales the key was "Find a market and fill it"
That darling of a beautiful lady thats your wife?Quote:

Nah, she's a sweetheart and would never be upset with me..:sofa:
I wonder what you'd like to fill in some underwear, besides the "thing" that's hidden behind it. :ROTF:
Better hang a warning sign in front of it saying "ONLY OPEN IN CASE OF REAL EMERGENCY"
You'd be surprised.
She sometimes even surprises me after 22 years.:D
Sorry Dave. You were extremely convincing but I did not buy it. I am setting up a new rig and guess what... it is an 1366 socket Rampage III board with an 980X. I think this has to do with psychology. Once you have touched 6th level in the direction of the crunchers Nirvana, it is very difficult to go down two levels.
Is that how you think of yourself now? .......Prime rib!! :sofa:
Hey Dave, sounds like SB is doing you well. Ready to part with those Hexes yet?
Yessss. More cores, more cores, more cores.......:up::up:
P.S. Two single socket Hex units (based on OCed 980Xs ) are more performant than one SR2 unit. I compared that in detail with Dave some time ago (see Dave's thread on SR2 rig) and there is no discussion about it. Dave loves dualies, I am more pragmatic, and only absolute performance counts.
Crunch Crunch Crunch....that is all Crunch for a Cure
SRHunt3r does average 15,200 with an SR-2 rig and thats not to shabby :) if a dualie does avg less then it's not going to be by very much. I wont pay the dual QPI Xeon "tax" for a dedicated cruncher myself.
Crunch Crunch Crunch? That's my line :D
Well you know what they say about taxes :D
(well apart from the life's certainties bit, anyway)
