Umh! Given from Dr. Who's hands himself I guess :p ...Congratz to the winners ;) (so sad for south's competitors :/ )
The livestream was nice :D Thank you OCTV :)
Congrats to the winners
congrats to winners , see you in taipei soon :D
why many competitors left the contest?
Disagree...
I think I stated that more then 20 times last night it was f***ing annoying with no coverage of the event because of some lame conference by Kingston, and then by another company later....
I even got so upset that I asked Chew to call Planet to get some details on if the event was still running !!!!!
EPIC FAIL is a better description..... Frustrating as hell when staying home a saturday night just to follow GOOC, that you get to see Kingston talk about OBVIOUS stuff.... "THIS IS X:M:P, NOW WE WILL TELL YOU IN CASE YOU ARE TOO DARN RETARDED TO SEARCH ON THE INTERNET"
congrats to 2 winners will attend the GOOC 2010 final in Taipei

Gratz to the Winners!
Congrats Jeremy and Mike
As well as everyone else that took part .
But I have to ask, was MACMAC standing behind Buckeye and Matt, and then later on moved over to Jody's desk ? :p::D
Good times there, was really nice to see and talk with everyone again !
But the comp did suck for me :(
all prepped up, first run at 5.7ghz as a warm up. Then dialed in 6.0ghz and just starting wPrime and BOOM. Power breaker filps for the first time, happened 2 or 3 times after that.
Sitting at -160c and a power outage took out MB and CPU :(
So new MB, tear everything down while frozen and reprep up... BIOS Post 88, new CPU, no change. Finally get a 3rd CPU and sitting on a bare MB with only a pot on the chip so I can get my scores off of the SSD, judge goes sorry can't take em as I didnt see them run :(
2nd CPU was 88 right off of the tray :(
So 20 minutes to reprep the whole thing again for next round, had to go fast and sloppy which in the end just wouldn't cut it so I called it a day.
It was really nice chatting it up with all the venders there.
Talked with Trouffman for long time, one heck of a cool guy, I really liked him a lot, very smart !
Interview time was pretty short I take it, and from what I hear 3oh6 used up most of the time LOL
Anyways very nice to see and talk with Rita again :)
Tony is also a very nice guy and I enjoyed talking with him this year.
All Gigabyte people were exceptional hosts, very friendly and professional.
Thanks Gigabyte !
Mikeg is running some tests in dual channel and single channel ... I think this is against rules?
Also all the screen shots are without the memory SPD tab which I know is against rules because my friend forgot to show the SPD tab in his screen shots and his tests have been declined.
Please hicookie confirm that.
congrats to the winners :)
what an ass....Quote:
