yep i agree.same stuff just its whether you get a decent kit.
whats the max vdimm for hypers for benching?
I've got Prime95 for hours at 1.75v with no apparent harm. I'd be afraid to go over 1.78-1.8v for benching.
rams have been used over 1.75v and less than 1.8v ....no crashes yet...
Just make sure they don't get hot. You need alot of airflow over the side, I've got a 50 CFM 92mm fan over them. They get really hot even at 1.65v without airflow.
Personally i dont like and use those fans that comes with Gskills or Corsair as hot air gets trapped inside...i prefeer to use a side fan or 2, i have 1 pointing the MCH and mem from the left and a 12x12 blowing from the other side
i have them set as this, GSkills PIS 2000CL6

thanks for the quick replies guys.1.75v vdimm it is for me then:up:
i also dont like the ram fans.i like using my two 40mm
4k rpm TT fans taped to the top of the ram, plus i have
my RAD(two ultrakaze 3000RPM) at the top of my 800D
sucking in the air from AC(5c air) into the case.so im good:up:
yea event with my WC ing still use the AC because when i was air cooling using the UD3P
i got used to the MB sensor always showing 15c and now its like with all my new setups
the MB and NB must fall in line.OCD kind of a thing.they all need to be below 25c or it will
drive me nuts:rofl:
nice setup there, using 3x 60x25mm sunon 23.5cfm maglev fans for cooling memory :)
trying some 12GB Elpida Hyper action next

Heh, you guys are soft, the ram fans are fine :p: In all seriousness I think they are, it's not like the inside of the case is very hot if you have good case airflow, and the ram is easy to cool.
Same rad as I use, I expect you'll like it.
That's some ram pr0n right there George :D
