It was on LHe
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1160187
Had a great time...
That was awesome...12 hours of mayhem...the LHe scare was pretty bad but I'm glad you guys sorted it out. 7 Ghz just wasn't meant to be. :(
Totally watching this right now! Helium lol
I enjoyed the LHe session very much
Great works from all participating Teams:clap:
6.936GHz with LHe on new 6core AMD is really awesome:up::clap:
Get some sleep ....guys!
someone post a clip of chew* talking with helium! it will be an epic sig!
Excellent..:up::clap:
aaron's war machine!!! :shocked::shocked::shocked:
Good job XS Team!!! Congrats!!! 6,9GHz is very very high !!!
I saw 6998 but it was literally 1/10th of a second before the system crashed so it wouldn't have survived a screenshot, let alone a validation.
it was one hell of a day......great time watching the pros do their thing good job!
is there another stream soon ????
So what's going on with team Finland??
team finland will stream sunday ..
congrats to all the teams, great job 64NOMIS getting it set up & keeping all the streams up.. everything was great all day, was very fun to watch :)
Great show, guys!
Too bad you had such a rough time getting the LHe to cooperate but it worked out alright in the end.
Looking forward to Sunday. You never know, your 6939 MHz record might stand, but for the sake of the CPU I hope sombody gets that's 7 GHz medal ...! ;)
That was fun to watch. Thanks for the front row seat.:)
Going live can present its own set of problems but I saw innovation and adaptability overcome most if not all. Good job. 7GHz+ is right there, so near and you guys will have it soon.
Was def fun to watch, even if I never LN2 I learned something!
Where do we find a list/links to the scores/screenshots that were submitted?
You, Pretty cool! I watched off and on until like 11:45pm CST last night. I was whooped from my own daily ventures but I enjoyed it. It wasn't the Saints in the Superbowl pwning the Colts excitement but 7GHZ validation was so close! That chip went thru hell yesterday and took it all! Intel can't say that. LOL!
Congratz to everyone involved!
It was a blast!
Shame I didn't last till LHe session.
Still, Team Finland is yet to perform :)
BTW watching 3 to 5 live streams at one after few beers is a funny experience :p:
HEy guys...
Funny fact : Firemen arrived at my place yesterday eveninG... because all the neighbors were calling them due to the 160L ln2 tank in front of my place...
That's sick ^^
Team Austria awakes again after more than 12 hours of benching. :toast:
We did every result on the gigabyte board, because we could not get k10stat functional on the crosshairs. Well, both boards had their problems at the beginning, but the ud7 was more stable in our testings ... and it lastet the whole session. The bios is far away from perfect. Lots of problems with vcore, sometimes it booted with some weird settings (back to BIOS + F10 and it was fixed ;)) and so on.
Here are our scores:
CPU-Z
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1159872
Frequency: 6,603.86 MHz
It was a :banana::banana::banana::banana:y to validate that high. We had to be quick as f..., but F7 directly to usb-stick did the trick before the os crashed.
3DMark Vantage
http://www.overclockers.at/files/vantage_154267.jpg
Score: 31564
We had only one HD 5970 and one HD 5870 ready, because we've been briefed to late. Both with stock cooler and without mods, but whatever ... we tried our best with the stuff we got. Isn't that what overclocking is about? :p
3DMark 06
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=13811113
Score: 36108
Worked better for us and was only cpu limited. 6.05 ghz ... not that bad.
Unigine
Image way too big ...
FPS: 105,5
Scores: 2657
Is that an official benchmark? Lots of troubles with that, but one score is better than no score. Trifire again, cpu at 5,75 ghz.
CineBench R11.5

Score: 10.44
SuperPI 1M

Time: 10.858
Not included in the competition, but we just had to. Wasn't our best result, so better time should be possible.

I watched the XS team live yesterday for over 6 hours on http://XtremeSystems.TV. Today I was motivated to put in $25 to upgrade my account here at XS. This forum giving us XSTV is well worth it!
