Mine gets 7.8, 7.8 in Win7 so scratch that theory :( The thing is though I still get the problem in 2-3 games without any overclocks anywhere which to me again points towards drivers / hardware and not instability with clocks / voltage.

10.1 is stable enough for me to raise my CPU clock 300Mhz and play Crysis all nite.
updated to 10.1 and it seems fine for me... gaming in eyefinity feels a little smoother.. l4d2 for sure it.. lotro might be a little better also.. I think I need another 5870 though.. 5760x1080 on one gpu with all the eye candy on is a lot of work.
OpenCL CAL has been updated as well from 1.4.515 to 1.4.519 :)
(hot fix drivers)
For the first time of my life, I can't install the new 10.1 drivers. I have a 4670 on my HTPC, and I tried under Vista x86, didn't work. I tried the hotfix under Vista, didn't work. I installed Windows 7 x64. Tried both 10.1 and hotfix, didn't install as well. Now I am on the 9.12 hotfix. This is amazing, I can't get those drivers to work, I tried everything!
My monitor doesn't want to sleep with these drivers. I see reports of others with the same problem. I have the same issue with the beta 10.1s, the actual 10.1s and the 10.1 hotfix drivers.
