Dollar rent a car is $120 for the week, mid size.
No, comes to $2980 for the week after fee's
trying to figure out if I can get by w/o a rental car and just grab a taxi or bus.. :S
if you are looking for a cheap hotel, book the four queens at vegas.com, then report to them about their pricematch thingie, citing the price of i4vegas.com. they will give you a nice refund. we paid 220$ with tax for 8 nights. make sure you read the terms, dont blame me. downtown is a bit away from most of the strip where the action is, google maps, taxis or car rentals are your friend. when you rent a car check that the rental place is in the big car rental place near the airport which has a bus shuttle
God, I hope ain't too sick for this; right in the middle of some treatments. But if I can, I'll defintely be attending. It's what? A 4 mile drive? LOL.
Question for anyone in the know-I see looking @ the CES website that the hotels have rates listed for CES attendees, also seeing some hotels wave fees and can be reserved online, but when arriving do they require proof that you will be attending CES? I am not technically "industry" and do not have a pass to get in- but of course would not say No to actually attending the conference. Just would like to take advantage of any hotel discounts as it is seeming more likely I will be attending! Very Excited
Looks like I will be there!:up::up:
Holy Crap.... Chuck?! No shiz?
Gawd I gotta get there..... be nice to finally put a face to you after all these years man.
Sounds like this XS event will be even better than the last one :)
This time around, I've set aside more time during the week to check out CES so that I'll be able to attend the XS party during more reasonable hours (I was there from, what, 9:00pm to 3:00am last time? :rolleyes: )
See you guys there!
So now someone tell me how to get in.. I can get to vegas just dont have a tech industry job.. pms are appreciated.
I chartered my canoe, got my CES clearance, booked my shack at the Golden Nugget and the traveler is ready to shake some dice :D
Anybody else making the trek from Hawaii?
Fugger, need me to bring anything? Snacks? Beer? Spam?
... I predict 400K+ AM3 score there :shrug: ... more like 415K+:hump::nuts::slobber::eek2::hitself::eleph:
:cool: :up:
EH? :stick::stick::stick::slap:
Ryan, set your sights a bit higher.
We have L&L here already so were set.
I'll arrive 5th and leave 10th. Anyone interested doing some sight seeing, visiting Hoover Dam etc. before XS event? I'll stay in Palazzo, will go though CES and have couple press events to join but most likely will have plenty of free time.
Just to clarify... do I just have to show up to get in? I'm registered with CES and have my badge, etc. :) I'm with a tech company :)
And hopefully it's ok that I'm 17? I've got LN2 experience if that helps my case =P
