sweet results whats your temps?
You must have the best c3 so far I cant boot to windows at 4.4ghz 1.53v even with water.

Wow... Excellent results man!
Could you give us a few more specs?
Batch / Ambient Temps / NBvid etc...
Seems like alot of folks are getting better results on older boards w/DDR2.
I've got 4 days off, I may just put this chip in the M3A79-T and see what I get... ;)
Hey Dave, where ya been. I agree, these results have been real nice compared. I no longer own a DDR2 board to try. Did you ever get your water hooked up? I still have my RAD in the garage but now the 2 120mm fans are hooked up. I idle @ 20*C with a 4.1ghz with 1.475v.
Yeah, I hooked the water up... Even left the window open and let it get pretty frikken cold in here (around 16c), still couldn't get 4.1 prime blend stable... Close but no cigar!
I had 4.02 stable on air at ambient of 22c (72f) even though the CPU temps were higher...
I sound like I'm complaining, but 4Ghz, on Air, at ambient is pretty sweet!!! :yepp:
This chip ROCKS! :D
I did my usual thing of trying to tweak everything at once (IE: leaving Mem and IMC at the known good settings of my 550) while raising the CPU clocks and it got me 4Ghz plus, not too shabby!
I'm tweaking again tonight. Think I'm gonna try lowering everything else and see how far I can push the CPU...
This is my best prime stable so far. Was expecting litte more on core but maybe with better batch later.
On water and radiators in garage. Water temp 9-10 celsius

Thank You, but 4290 boot in windows with 1.525v and then just up half multiplier in windows...
CPU temp sensor in bios at 4.3 show 41°C and Everest in windows say 38° idle
Thanks man!

CACAC 0933FPMW / 20°-22°C / 1.300V nb vid for better cpu stability
Motherboard only have 3 voltage options in bios - cpu, nb and memory... :D
Chip don't like big cpu vid, works perfectly around 1.500V - 1.525V and less
Few casual 3DMark06 running 4114 1.45V

I ran Prime blend for half an hour this morning at 4GHz , 2.6GHz NB with 1.425V. No idea if that is good or average, i haven't tried lower Vcore either, just quick and dirty.
Temps never went over 40ºC load according to AMD overdrive.
More to come, of course. :)
:woot: Im now lucky...next daysil post some benching, my series is: 0942 EPMW Have here someone the same?
Finally.... After a second try with C3 I got a chip that actually works. My first try was an 0941 chip and the NB just did not want to clock any higher the 2000mhz. The chip itself could clock and be stable up to 4Ghz but that does not really help me when the NB sits at 2000mhz. This here is where I'm able to boot into WIndows 7 64bit and run just about every bench for the CPU. No Prime95 yet, but will get to it soon.
Oh and this is with a True 120 Black with 2 x 120mm fans.
Oops wrong screen. Here you go.

my best Pi 1m (so far) with 2x 3500rpm delta fans in push/pull:

Nice one Beta, try raising your CPU-NB clock.
My CPU-NB isn't very strong unfortunately, i have a hard time to stablilize at 2.8GHz for Prime blend.
Here's my best 1M so far without trying hard:

Zeus: what is your cpu-nb voltage? I tried everything up to 1.47v but 2800 is no go...
Anyway here is a new one:
http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/2...48152vpi1m.png
I can run Prime blend with CPU-NB at 2.6GHz with only 1.175V but at 2.8GHz i need 1.35V and even then i always have the same core failing after some time. :(
The cores clock nice though, just ran Prime at 4141MHz 1.48V.
Zeus, great!what series chip?
looks like, 0944APMW, 0944EPMW and 0933FPMW are the best series to time.
Might be true for the cores but which has the best CPU-NB?
Mine is fine up to 2.6GHz but after that it's a sucker for volts.
IMC is still limited, this is the best i managed, still only 1M stable, got DDR1816 but it froze at saving the sceen.

Uh? only 1.0Vcore and already 26.5 idle? 4x803 is an incredible overclock!! :D
for some year s ago it was certainly good OC :). It was only first run (bios all deafult setings).
Socket A, the good old times :)
Small update..... 3000nb not too much of a problem. Still need to test stability.

Flanker you can use the bread as a 120mm fan filter...........or you can make a sandwich:)
