Also they want to feature it in Readers Drives in CustomPC magazine.
Congrats, subset!!! Well deserved win. While I love all the wild and crazy things people do ( space ships, themed-builds, etc.), it's nice to see a clean and Pure build win as well.
What a Great look!!! I love the Color Scheme Props on the photos!
Congratulations on a sweet build Subset7. I have only just found your worklog and have read it from start to finish.
I must say I am very happy:up: that you left the fan grills silver, as they really finish off this classy case.
Well done with the XSPC temp sensors, they also look sweet and blend in well with the front of your case.:D:D

New question, subset...
How difficult was it to tap the holes on the TC rad for M4 threads? Did you have to use any special kind of tap bit to avoid puncturing the tubes/fins or just a plain old spiral point type was sufficient and just watch the clearance? I'm not too keen on the idea of the 'self-tappers' the PA rads come with and would rather tap them out for M4s like you did.
I looked up a couple of M4 taps online, and they list thread sizes of M4 x .7mm or M4 x .75mm. It seems to be a thread or pitch difference but is one more common than the other for regular M4 screws?
BTW, congrats for getting up on Case Mod Blog as well. :)
Very nice build, subset. I'm a fan of the clear/white fans. Nice job. :)
Hey Ketzer,it's easy enough to tap the holes you just have to be careful, firstly drill the holes out I think I used a 3.3mm drill bit for this,a drill press is better as you can set the depth so you don't go too far but a hand drill is fine just take your time,I just used a standard M4 tap, mine was .5,if you're unsure just ask when you buy the bolts :)
Thanks Xion X2 :)
Thanks subset.
Yeah, the taps I was looking at are here:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#taps/=4cyfz3
Like I mentioned, they only offer two M4 taps, .7 and the .75. Is that the thread width or some other measurement?
From what I understand the .5 or .7 is the distance between threads in mm,just found this
Metric threads are specified in the form (diameter)-(millimeters per thread). For example, 5 mm-.8 means that the diameter of the bolt is 5 millimeters and that the threads are .8 millimeters apart. ISO metric threads are standardized to the extent that the thread pitch is not usually mentioned, unless it is non-standard for the diameter for example, 5 mm-.8 is often just called 5 mm, but if the thread pitch is other than .8, it would have to be specified. Likewise, 6 mm-l.0 is a standard ISO size, and could be referred to as "6 mm."
