What makes a computer a MDPC??

I counted 4 TJ-07s amongst the 30+ rigs on MDPC. Of those, 3 were by Charles - and each one tops the one before, and 1 by dualbrain.

If a person is aiming to get on MDPC, I think it will be doubly hard using a TJ-07. They've been done by the best, and most of us will just be copying. There are many beautiful TJ-07 builds that are not on MDPC - not because they aren't wonderfully done, but because they aren't necessarily unique and advancing the process. That takes away nothing from these builds. I'd be proud to have one sitting on my desk.

And yes, I agree, if you are building a TJ07, for it to feature on MDPC you don't need something that's beautiful (In a way you do) but you need something TRULY unique and never done before since nowadays, everyone has a TJ07 and it's very hard to make it "stand out" from the crowd of "beautiful" TJ07's.

Jup, without a "new idea" that has lots of inspiration-potential or a completely "new theme", a TJ07 is hard to get onto MDPC. That is why so many great looking TJs and costly murderMods did not get onto it - even that many are very beautiful. They can even be on par, but on par is not enough - and what has to be exceeded or made different is what appeared in the last 3-4 months - the rest is history and has deserved its place. It's about progress - bringing things forward - breaking borders :D Thanks Shazza for saying exactly the right things. :)

That's true. A new inspiration means more than the looks. I wonder if the White Murdermod can get into MDPC :D
