Hardmod.

Hi!
Several times I read, that you guys reached clocks about 860/1000. I get theses Clocks nearly, too, but not on both GPUs. How did you manage these clocks?
In CCC I only can run 800. Do I have to flash the Asus BIOS? Furthermore my Ram isn't able to run more than 950?! How did you manage this?
Is there also a pencil-mod possible at the card?
I will share the hard mod as soon as it is possible. It is under NDA now.
It is easy mod to use, cause no adjusting or trimming variable resistors anymore.
Sorry! I don't mean to tease you with it.
What do you mean with it?
Is this a pencilmod or not?
emertX, I suggest you actually read the thread - all the answers are there already (or elsewhere in the forum)

Your answers are in this thread but I'll try to answer them again 4uQuote:
I Quote myself!
My & I'm sure quite a few others cores will run 800~860 but there is a difference between run & bench. My optimum core speed to bench & game is 830 any more than that & Vantage gets choppy & my scores go down.
I am sure just like CPU's there will be some poo cores & some blinding cores but at £350/$600 or so per card most of us will have to make do with what we have.
Flash to the ASUS Top BIOS posted in this thread & the CCC core limit will be 900MHz.
My RAM would only run 950MHz until I flashed to the ASUS top BIOS & now it will run near 1100 although it artifacts above 1070 ish. I think the timings must be slackened off as the performance at 1050 is as far as I can tell the same as the original BIOS @ 950.
Hope this helps :)

Thanks a lot!!!
So the solution is to flash the Asus Bios and I can clock my card above the normal settings. Thanks again...
Can we flahs that card with ATIWINflahs on windows ? If yes how we see what is the slave gpu and the master ? I see on WinFlahs 2 GPU and one 4870x2 (in use)
use ATIFlash
I never use this soft and he dosen't work on vista.I have error when I open it.It impossible with ATIWinflahs ?
Take Atiflash to flash your card, if you want to be on the save side of life ;)
You need to do it at DOS screen
Right. Where are you from? I've got a german explanation for this.
Nice guide 4 flashing, http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=11
"Yes, but how ? I cannot start it on vista. Can you tell to me how you do ?"
come on now, do a little reading about it. Google will make you smarter, and it's easy to query. I bet you can even do it in your native language.
Make dos boot disk, (1.44mb floppy) copy atiflash.exe to boot disk, copy T-M's bios .rom files to boot disk, boot from floppy, (this is where you kill your cards) flash command is} "atiflash -f -p 0 teamau-0.rom" for master gpu, "atiflash -f -p 1 teamau-1.rom" for the slave. WARNING, you do this at your own risk. No crying later. No RMA's. No refunds.
Ok I have do my usb Dos bootable :D
Now when I will be on the Dos systeme, what commande I use for flahs the first GPU the second the third and the last ?
ok but how to know I will flahs the slave or the master with the commande you have donate ? I need to put one card only at same time ?
