I finally got some time to try to mount the Arctic Cooling Xtreme 2900 cooler on my Gigabyte HD 3850. It took some cutting in both the card and cooler, but now it sits there. And it works dang good!:up:

With 1.5v I get 1GHz on the core, and a load temp not exceeding 48C.

The cooler is very quiet at max speed, it simply works amazingly well!:D
I did put a res. for protection, miscalculated and got a max 1.5volts. I will bridge over that and se what 1.6volts can do. ;)

Man wish I had taken a picture of my ghetto setup. Was selling my case and had a 1 week period where my componets were housed by my table and some foam, printing paper and toothpicks...
