The best looking block is the Cuplex XT DI, hands down. But ist doesn't hold up performance wise with the rest and is pretty much only good in CPU-only loops. I have to second ShoNuff in wanting to hear something about the Cuplex from you Andy, whether you still think it's such a good block like you stated in January.

Cuplex is also gorgeous and so is that special block that the guy from antec made.

Maybe because of the EK GPU FC WB, much restriction on the system so low flow

Thanks! That's what I thought. I only know that ek supreme, dtek and GTZ are roughly in the same league, just like MCW60 and GFX2.

as for the restriction of the EK blocks, well I have an EK Supreme and EK FC block in one loop with a single D5 with the EK X-Top! :yepp:
I was getting too much flow to properly bleed the air, and thats with a Micro Res, but to clarify I did modify the Supreme's accelerator plate, the long middle accelerators in the middle I made into 1 big accelerator. :rolleyes:

with minimal testing, I gained 1 to 2 degrees celcius better performance after I did it, and huge improvements in flow! :up:
but the thermals may be due to a better mount?! who knows, when I get my test bench cranking I will test it properly with a E7200 at 4.2ghz and I will be buying a Q9550 to test aswell.

thanks to Eddy I have 6 different EK accelerator plates to play with, plus 7 standard plates to play with designs ;)

Okay just googled silver cathar block, the one rrr now owns. Here is what the review stated.

The silver blocks are made to order and are still available. Just order direct from AC via Shoggy. I ordered one and that is what I was told. Hopefully it will get here soon!

Nice find. What do you consider "piss poor pump"? MCP355/655?
