But there was actually chances to push FarCry engine to higher limits than the original game "with a load of software mods and a little bit of configuration". Witch actually still makes FarCry laggy on my Core 2.33ghz 2gb DDR2 667mhz geforce 7900GTX go...! And that game is friggin OLD.

to bad that theres no card that can run those resolutions with at least a playable 60fps. Definitely alot of future potential.
Far Cry was the same, they kept making it prettier and more demanding over the years (most notably, the 64-bit patch and HDR-lighting)Quote:
