They are about to show up any time soon in Europe and in USA .... :)
We were fixing our last details with it and we are ready... ;)

They are ALREADY selling here in Hellas though.....
As for the 750Watts ppl are asking, yes you will here some news about it pretty soon I think too...... ;)
.
So, about 450 USD in the States, right?
Any ideas when these might be available in the states?
Hmmm my PC P&C 1kW is feeling small and inadequate....
I'm running 8800GTX Tri-SLi and an overclocked QX6800 on it, with 6 HDDs, so I'm probably pushing it a little hard anyway... Might have to look at one of these!!
Are there any plans to release, say, a 1500W version? I like to overspec PSUs and I want room for whatever is coming next GPU wise :)
Only 4 PCIe connectors tho? Need 6 for Tri-SLI :(
Was hoping to rid myself of these molex->PCIe connectors..
Woah there! Not trying to sound clever or anything, but why would you have to start adding 400W for every GTX that you are adding on a multi-SLI configuration?
This is a triple 8800GTX SLI setup (+QX9650 iirc) that ran all the 3D benchmarks with a PPC 750W (photo taken inside unseen's house :D )
Because as well as Tri-SLI, (three water cooled and overclocked 8800GTXs), and a QX6800 (3.8GHz, 1.6v vCore, watercooled), I have 6 HDDs and two optical drives in there, along with a boatload of fans. I have a Watt meter that shows this system at about 950W power draw at full load.
Given the power requirements of GPUs are on an upward trend, its only a matter of time before PSUs are streched even more.
Yes, if I assume 85% efficiency on the PSU, I still have some headroom availible on this 1kW model and could happily do with a 1.2kW model. But then there are issues such as capacitor aging that could pose a problem in the future.
I'm not fully comfortable running a PSU at more than about 75% of capacity, and if something like 6 way SLI is released (three 9800GX2s) I will need a much larger PSU.
What ever happend to this ''product'' then?
Nice bump :p:
