Bought an XFX 8800GT (625 core factory OC) and an HR03-GT + 92mm fan. The stock cooler seems to have a slightly larger fan than most of the pics that I have seen of other 8800s floating around. My temps went from 53 load with stock cooler down to 46 max at load when playing Crysis.

This is true, as mine is presently running in SLi without one. But my understanding is that without the bridge, a loss of bandwitdth occurs across the PCI-e buss, as it is forced to carry the info that would have been carried on the bridge. Right?
It is my understanding that what you speak of is no longer an issue.
XS might not be for you then man, because XS stands for Xtreme, and taking up 5 PCI bays to cool a graphics card down 2 more degrees is well within qualifications of this forum. XS = not for the faint hearted:up: :up:Quote:

I did up an entire report on the VF-1000...
It only takes up 2 PCI slots and lowers the operating temps by 30 degrees...
Bend the HR-03 90 degrees, you get all your PCI slots back ;)
