Those shots clearly indicates the o/c advantage with 45nm Penryn chips. Even if they're ES samples, Kenstsfield ES never did close to such results. :p: Wonder where avg max stable clock result for Q9450 on air will land at, 3.75~3.9GHz would be nice. I can imagine mobo will be stopping most ppl with 8x multi at higher than that.

C0? Whoa thats been in the works after revision A1 for quite a long time with tweaks and respins then. Can expect high clocks then. What a speedy cycle revision though.

In my opinion, Yorkfield has been a huge dissapointment.
I'm actually considering moving back to DC (E8400/E8500) as the multi-locked quads (like Q9450) are almost useless for someone who already has a Kentsfield @ 3.6GHz as they just really don't OC that much better due to FSB wall.

The 9450 is looking good for me as I'm building another Quad for WCG.
