Wow I think I just wet my pants. :D
Thanks for sharing.
Those shots clearly indicates the o/c advantage with 45nm Penryn chips. Even if they're ES samples, Kenstsfield ES never did close to such results. :p: Wonder where avg max stable clock result for Q9450 on air will land at, 3.75~3.9GHz would be nice. I can imagine mobo will be stopping most ppl with 8x multi at higher than that.
C0? Whoa thats been in the works after revision A1 for quite a long time with tweaks and respins then. Can expect high clocks then. What a speedy cycle revision though.
n3n3n69
What temps are you getting with 4400MHz and whats BIOS vcore?
Prices on QX are back to Pentium EE prices btw, check VR.

:banana::banana::banana:ting bricks here.. no point upgrading from my q6600 since the 9450 will be mobo limited at around 3.6 ghz anyway :(
too right oohms too right
Yeah, sadly.
I just hope that the initial release paired with the nicer x48's will be able to push it just a little bit further...
It will be rather interesting to see what he can come up with in the coming weeks.Quote:

I'm actually considering moving back to DC (E8400/E8500) as the multi-locked quads (like Q9450) are almost useless for someone who already has a Kentsfield @ 3.6GHz as they just really don't OC that much better due to FSB wall.
