I'm not speaking out to be moan for the sake of it, or to put Eddy down. As you can see from my avatar, I owned some Asus NB/SB1 blocks, and they were amazing quality, never seen such nice looking blocks, the delrin was milled smooth as a babies bum.
I also had and 8800GTX full cover block but sold it due to the stealth fitting my tubing layout better and again, the quality was out standing.

I'm not sure why someone needs a break. He's selling us a product. I expected the product to work right the first time. I was expecting it to work right the 2nd time when I bought 4 revision bottoms for all 4 of my EK reservoirs. Now I'm told I have to spend money a third time to get a product to work how it's supposed to the first time?Quote:

Guys, with a cylinder shaped res, it's like we're constantly flushing a toilet, what else did you expect to happen? Another problem is the 150 is just too short for a powerful pump, if we use the bigger versions for the more powerful pumps, the cyclone likely wouldn't even exist in the first place. The EK res is not only for vertical installation, it can be laid horizontal as well, end of cyclone.
Eddy, really nice to see you here. Great devlopment on everything. This new adational part for the res seams to work. What everyone has not bothered to do was notice you have tested it! If it's going to be £5/6GBP then thats cool, and if it's implemented into the next batch of res's you go to ship out thats even better init. I'm more than happy to buy it and glad you took the time to test it out.

The problem with these reservoirs is that they usually cause the pump to draw air, because you can't get all the air out of the reservoir.
If you were to replace the screw top of the reservoir though with a 1/4" connector, you could just get rid of all the air using a T-Line.
Also, some kind of design that prevents cyclones in the top would be great.
This setup isn't all that compact, but it seems to work quite well, and makes it easy to mount the pump/res. I used this fitting from Danger Den with the EK 150 Res.Quote:

Sorry for the mess with the cables, just got the PSU yesterday.
I'd love something good for my Laing so I don't need the external reservoir anymore. And I imagine many people have small cases or just prefer small reservoirs, which is why so many people have Swiftech Micros.
I'm happy I got the EK MultiRes instead of the Swiftech Micro, but I'd be even happier if I had a good small top/reservoir for my Laing. Preferably with some kind of decoupling/ mounting system that allows it to be mounted in a a 3.5" *or* 5.25" bay.

I can't really say if there is any flow restriction ... since this is my first attempt at water cooling and I don't have a flow meter included in the loop. My temps seem okay, so things seem to be working as they are supposed to.
