My E6850 has now finally shipped :) I should have it on Thursday, with a bit of luck already tomorrow. I dont want to advertise here, but before people ask again, i have ordered from www.comtech.de but i dont advise anyone else to order there. They seem to be very sucky, and only shipped mine after a few threatening emails... long story. And now they dont have any left in stock. It says expected July 13th.
omg.. that price is unbelieveable..
looks like some aussies stores are already getting stock and shipping out :D >> we are improving :D....we used to get things last and look at us now :D
very limited quantities available however.
AndreYang where r u?
This is the only retail G0 hyped chip I've seen posted anywhere. Yet still no screen shots of 4 Ghz 12 hours prime. I plannedd to grab a G0 Q600, but it's starting to seem like hype again. My current Q6600 will do 3.3GHZ on air. If I can pull of 3.6Ghz on water, there may be no need for a G0 after all.
Some Portuguese result's on a retail chip:D

Looks like my itch to upgrade came just in time, any idea when these are hitting US? I must get my hands on the first batch :D
Okay this may be inappropriate, but this is my current $299 Fry's CPU Mobo Combo Q6600 @1.43v bios 1.37v load, DFI P965-S, Tuniq Tower. I wanna see 3.6-3.8ghz 1.35v-1.4v 12 hours orthos & 4+ GHZ 3DMark06 & PC Mark05 or I'm simply not gonna be impressed.

The newer Q6600 will clock just like the old ones i think.... Even if they give it a G0 stepping, I doubt that they will clock anywhere clocse to the E6X50 cpus just because it wouldnt make sense for Intel to do so.... As we all know, the 1066fsb cpus are faster clock per clock and if the $266 Q6600 clocks as well as the 1333fsb G0, then it makes it a better cpu than even the Q6850 ( $999 )..... Since its the same price as the E6850, it has to have some drawback to make the E6850 competitive....
I know overclockers is a small segment in Intels market but they are aware of this fact..... Just imagine what an E4300 with 4mb cache and no fsb wall will do to the E6600 market, and thats not even considering theres no diff in speed between 800fsb and 1066fsb cpus.....
These new cpus are nice clockers but unless I see them doing 600fsb+ without a sweat then Ill stick to my E6600 .... Im sure she can still Orthos at 4ghz :D
could somebody delete all those posts with the word "subscribed" in them? They're close to together and worthless.
Are the early G0s really going to be better than the later ones
3.6 at 1.32v is verrry good.
so you are saying that later batches get worse?
or that you are more likely to get a good oc chip in an early batch 6750 or 6550...?
due to "non-aggressive" binning (sees a bin with a growly mouth on it )
umart emailed me to say they have shipped mine ...whacky doo.
Look what just came in.

Felt like i've been waiting months now, now it's better than christmas and a bj :D
Gimme a bit to apply some paste and run the first few benches.
Edit: First quick try @ 9x370 = 3.3 GHz, RAM @ 920:

Edit2: My current max on air: 3.82 GHz 9x425, vCore 1.4750, RAM @ 850 1:1 2.10v
I know the CoreTemp readings are wrong, think i am reaching ~60° already, dont want to go
much higher with the vCore at the moment.
