Heh - spot someone who doesn't hang out in the WC-ing section much... the XIPs & Legends regularly tear chunks out of each other in there... At no point have I been asked or told to conform to any XS ideology etc, and if I were asked to do so, I'd be outta here. Forum rules apply to all... simple as that. There is no hidden set of rules for each member group etc.

As JAWS posted above, the list for XIPs is basicly those that help the forums/staff, stay out of trouble, spend some time here, get to know some folks a bit..... pretty much it overall.
As I said in that quote he has above, if you feel you know someone who deserves to be promoted, PM a staff member!!!

As for XL's, (Xtreme Legends) simply be utterly awesome at overclocking. lol
Break a record, show some skill with modding, something to that effect.
The rules for XLs are not as tight as XIPs. Think of XIPs as folks that may reach staff at some time, if they are interested and if we need the help.

Oh, I must have missed the "shoot me a PM" part :p: (though I did PM a "now-defunct" member of XS at the time for instructions)... I have joined the XS WCG team a while back (at the time of that very messy "contest" a few months ago), and I'm still crunching for XS ATM, though I'm somewhat limited now (only a P3-1GHz... :(). That's why I still use that logo on the left
