4-3-2-9 at 475 is not too shabby, Collin, especially for the price. Just curious...what's the highest clock that you can get with more relaxed timings (not that you buy these to run them with relaxed timings)?

By the way, did you intend to leave the "[img]" in your link above? They have to be removed for the link to work.

I'm going to test that tonight as soon as my girlfriend leaves. She doesn't like me ignoring her...especially for fatbodies. I crack myself up. :)

Man, I must've gotten some crap. Both sets won't do 1000 at 4-4-4 at 2.45v
I couldn't get into windows at 4-3-3-4 at 460. this is on p5b deluxe 0804 bios.

I opened up one of my sticks.

It's D9DQW. Think DQT was the better one but oh well. The thermal epoxy they use is annoying as hell. Can't get it off the chips at all. Took forever to slide a knife through it as well. I voided the warranty but that's not a big deal.

Yeah, DQT is generally the higher clocking stuff, although there are DQW that do quite well (DQW and DQT is kinda like today's GMH and GKX, respectively).

Thanks for sharing that info...at the expense of your warranty.

I wonder if all v1.5 are DQW or if they use both chips on this version.

eh I got two sets of it. And my computer budget is 2k. I have $500 left over after buying this ram. $130 is not too bad. Plus when I finally get my stuff together I'll probably just keep the better set and sell the rest and buy a regular 2 gig GMH set for daily use. On the one that I haven't taken the heatspreader off I still have the warranty?

Also I'm not sure about any of the other chips since the thermal epoxy seems to have erased the marks. I'm not sure how to get it off either.

just got mine and will post results sometime in the next few days if i can squeeze them in on the Intel bench rig.

now, noooooooooo one can say DDR2 is slower then DDR1, cause with the 680i boards, you can do exactly the same thing as DDR1 can do, cas 2 and 1T.

can you take a photo of the memory? i mean good quality. im interested of the PCB layout
